If EVE lost 12% of their subscribers because suicide ganking was nerfed, then this game is truly made for sadists.

Lol, how many people really go around suicide ganking? Also the thing isnt even on live yet and isnt finalised. This change maybe "nerfs" 1% of players (Goonswarm jihad types) Seriously what is wrong with you all?

About 2% of the 2% will threaten to quit, and about 2% of those will ACTUALLY quit. So that's, erm, not many.

protip: when you press the cancel butan and then resubscribe when your skill finishes, CCP doesn't care.
Currently I have 4 accounts that are expired, 1 out of training. I seriously doubt CCP cares too much about the 3 still training. However, I am carrying less active accounts at a time now on average due to the increase in GTC prices - maybe they'll care - doubt it. I will also probably sell my pure minmatar/leadership/maxed claymore pilot (although again, CCP won't care, they get the transfer fee and SOMEONE will still be paying them monthly).
The same situation will play out for most people who quit or reduce the number of active accounts. The only real exceptions will be those who are relatively new to the game (who these recent changes pander to anyway), the accounts of which are not worth selling.
