hall monitor	Posted - 2008.08.06 19:05:00 - [1] At this rate, tectonic plate movement will swallow my PC before I can get into a good corp (they want minimum 20 million points.) I finally found a group of nice people and am realizing there are more nice guys than losers in EVE but I can't join until 2045 when I have enough points. So I guess all I can do is skill up and sew pants for 2 years. Then I can get into a decent corp? Please tell me I'm wrong.

With Learning skills all trained to 4, and a set of +3 implants in, your attributes should be in the 17-20 range, which would give you more than a million points per month. Of course, 20 mil SP requirements would still take a year, so I'd say, look for a different corp to join.

Have you left your character idle for most of that 3 months? 400,000 SP per month is average for a character with no learning skills or implants. Implants and learning skills can easily push that above 1.0 - 1.5 million SP per month. You're doing something wrong! - If they are such nice guys, why won't they let you join now? You don't need +20 million SP to be effective. Just find a corp that will let you join as you are.

I'm not a moron and I'm not a trolling weenie honest! Yes Iv'e posted a couple silly threads but I'm serious here. I'll look for corps still but that's what they told me after I went through 4 days trying to join corps. ALL I DID was hassle with corp applications. AND I use my main so they aren't blowing me off because of my posting alt.

Buy a cheap set of +2 or +3 implants if you can afford it. You found a nice group you say? Doesn't sound that nice if they exclude you, does it? Besides what do you need 20 mil sp for? Frig V, small weapons V, a few support skills at V and the rest at IV or less. All the other pilots, even if they have 70+ mil skillpoints, they do not have better skills than frig V - so you are on equal terms with them if you specialise.

Keep training skills if ur gonna be gone for any amount of time swap the skills thats what i do. Implants r a plus also u must have those u'd be a fool not too and if u get podded alot make sure u have an updated clone at all times and also never PvP in ur attribute implant clone, get a jump clone much easier and less aggravting when u get podded
