I've set myself up for a little bit of hauler-killing. Wait quietly in Uttindar, or maybe Uedama, meet a body a-coming through the rye with a shipload of money, and remove the ship from around the money. You know how it goes.
My question is, assuming that I don't want to spend a lot of time ratting, how many kills before the customs guys get all mad at me in 0.5 or 0.6? I've seen a couple formulas for security status lost when you attack ONE person, but I'm not planning to only ever attack one person. |

its all based on your security rating. You will take a security hit every time you agress, destroy or pod someone.
so when your security rating hits a certain point you will be flagged as a criminal in high security systems
* Below -2 = not in 1.0 sec systems * Below -2.5 = not in 0.9 sec systems * Below -3 = not in 0.8 sec systems * Below -3.5 = not in 0.7 systems * Below -4 = not in 0.6 systems * Below -4.5 = not in 0.5 systems * -5 or below = KOS in all empire. |

Don't remember how is it in Hisec ( i wasn't there for 2 years since flashy red ) but in low you loose:
- ship aggresion : 0,5 - 0,7 % of current sec status. - ship kill : 2 - 3 % of current sec status. - POD kill: 15 - 20% of current sec status.
Sec status drop is higher when you engage on gate or station also higher in higher security systems.
I hope that helps.
PS. It is real pain in the back to manage your sec status. Sooner than later you will have to decide to go flashy or be a pinata.

It's not a set number of kills or even a set decrease per criminal act. There are lots of variables to it.
Like:
What sec system you are in when you commit a crime Whether the other ship shoots back at you or not If you destroy his ship or not etc
I can say however that it happens pretty quick when you really start low sec PVPing and ratting to keep sec up is a pain.
However if you want to raise sec quick I wrote a article about that here: http://www.eveproguides.com/quickly-increasing-your-security-status/
If you plan on doing this often and not ratting to keep your sec up, then get your self a hauler alt. Just train up a mammoth pilot real quick to bring you stuff.
