Lowsec seems to be the only carebear-free zone, and I think that's the PROBLEM, not the solution. Carebear and PvP should interact in all levels of the game, some more than others. This 'white or black' attitude is what I think is causing the most issues. "The greatest offense is no defense."

ALL traditional or even new MMO's that have come out WILL NEVER cater to "hardcore pvp" its not a successful business model and will never attract a large player base, PvP tends to bring the ugly out of people and bully'ish playstyles which causes the normal PvE type of player to leave, CCP knows this and im more than sure their business model is changing in order to cater to the normal PvE player in order to grow their subscribers. My belief is mmo's are multi-player environments, if I did not want to play MMO I would simply pull the plug on my Internet connection and play X3 instead, as for pvp pilots being a small percentage, I wonder how big a percentage it would be?, if so many have not left to date. Blob warfare would be viable if the game engine could handle it but sadly it don't, what is there left, what is the point in building ships and weapons just to be left in our hangers or to fill our wallets with isk. Some would say building your own mother ship and having the ability to fly it is an achievement, tbh this would boar me to tears. The point is the game is going in the direction where a robot will be able to play it, that alone is not worth subscribing for. flame on

The most valid post in this thread. The Sec status, from the reports, is the same on Tranquility today if you kill in 0.3. Making that 0.4 or even 0.5 would be better, especially as after the perp get a negative standing he start to lose standing fast. Concord activation seem to be faster (no one as jet reported how much faster) but damage the same or even a bit less. Not big change there.
