I never, ever experienced anywhere the amount of Emorage I have seen in the last weeks and it is getting worse each day.
I have to say this is not the community I joined nearly three years ago. I feels more like a bunch of 12year, olds who just run out of alcohol and cigarettes.
So I would like to excuse myself for the crap topics that spawned everywhere.

I never, ever experienced anywhere the amount of stupid game changes I have seen in the last weeks and it is getting worse each day.
I have to say the devs of today are not like the devs of the game I joined nearly three years ago. I feels more like a bunch of 12year, olds who just run out of heart-shaped pillows and cotton candy.
So I would like to excuse myself for the crap changes that spawned everywhere.

Indeed, except the heart-shaped pillows are insurance payouts for CONCORD kills, and the cotton candy is their positive security status.

Forums have been increasing in awesomeness for the last few days. Hope it lasts, they haven't been this entertaining in a long time, and they are (unsurprisingly) as useful now as they ever were.

Don't get me wrong, its not that suicide ganking and nanos didn't need to be balanced. What ticks me off is the way the devs have decided to balance them by basically destroying each of them with shotgun-style changes. Vagas only doing 3.5 and getting eaten by missiles? Triple the sec-loss for a gank in 1.0?
The fact of the matter is that with these two patches, EVE becomes easier. Not "hey, here's a tutorial for you newbies" easier, that kind is totally valid, but simpler in the sense that one does not have to be as competent at the game as before. Now, you can be lazy and AFK 20 jumps in highsec in an untanked Badger with valuables, because now, not only is there no insurance, but the chances of a successful gank with a CONCORD boost is lower, not to mention, where are you going to grind sec back up?
One of the only real options for those not in the big alliances is to ninja-rat in 0.0 for sec status, and the devs are borking that via the nano nerf. Rather than simply toning down things like heat, snake sets, polys, and implants, they've gone for the kitchen sink too and have altered gang bonuses, modified the 2 point scram into a "godmodule", added a pointless reactivation delay to the MWDs, et cetera.
So, you know what, I'm ticked off. I really am. I'm not "crying tears over it", I'm genuinely annoyed that CCP has decided to fix the problems confronting the game in the wrong order, screwing over small gang PvP with the nano nerf and not punishing idiots with the second one. There has never been a time during my EVE career where I have been more disenchanted with the dev team than I have now, especially reading Noah's remarks last night that he sees the war-dec system being used primarily as a griefing tool right now... I shudder to think what changes are on the horizon with that, victory conditions, all well and good, but what other overblown changes will come with it?
So, anyways, back to the point to wrap this up. I'm genuinely concerned that in its attempts to go mainstream and capture a larger portion of the market, CCP has embraced the carebear mindset as it dominates the casual gamers interests. As a result, while we now have a better economy and higher subscription count, the number of immature, whining teenagers that we now have to put up with steadily rising - with it is a vested interest on CCP's behalf not to lose those subscriptions.
The result is that now, they're a potential power bloc, and when a choice comes down to favoring them or the veterans that have stuck out worse, and helped you build this game, it seems more and more lately you're favoring the casual, PvE-style gamers. That's how I perceive it, that's what angers me the most, seeing the game that I love and have played in for so long being changed for the worse.
