Reviera	Posted - 2008.08.08 06:46:00 - [3] sure big corps often have big gangs. bing alliances have huge gangs bla bla bla... but a big pirate corp imo is a corp with maybe 20-40 active members in one timezone. 20-40 active members that do different things, not all are up to roam all the time but with a stable active amount of players you know there is ppl around. how much hunting is left in eve? is pirates hunting other pirates or is there actually miners and ratters still in low sec lol imo mining low sec is worthless, why find any. ratting sucks and you can do it in a frig :p anti-pirates, are they putting up a good fight constantly faction warfare, are pirtes just messing around with them :)

Also we kill the mission runner or slowboater on the gates when real fights are few and far between. I love solo as much as the next time, take a page out of garmons book, it's possible, but pro-tip: it's expensive. You want an edge? You need every edge. Pirate implants, hardwire, boosters, buttload of nanite paste and don't neglect max skills and move in 10 of x ship in at a time. I'm a CEO of what I call a piracy corp, but I can't be bothered being one of those elistist "real" pirate corps. I guarantee my guys constant pvp via FW, which is literally counterstrike in space. We don't do politics, but we have relations and we take care of those that fly next to us in combat, and no other. We do it all, but to be honest, I've done little gate camping in the past few months. Gate-camping used to be a pirate-kinda thing for me, just because it provided a pretty continual stream of kills, but I gotta be honest, living in amamake now, it's move fun to small gang the belts for ganks, and while I never hesitate on a kill I take a GCC for, FW has changed low-sec for me. It's made it viable, it's made a ton of real kills happen all the time, with friegher and capital kills sprinked in. I've rabbled, my KB tells the stories, just my "piracy" experience as of recent, and I'm loving. You can take your "real" piracy corps and shove it Save Small Gang Warfare

MAFIA only have 16 members now, but most of us have 40+ mill SP and over. So we are very experienced in what our corp are doing, that is piracy.

Camping anunen with a geddon and then a harbinger. Your sec had gone down like 6 points in 2 days. One time you jumped out to keep me from getting a mail, for that you fail and suck, etc... but you were cool in the convos. Fantastic post.
