Anyone else find this utterly ridiculous.
All over a rather large bag of carbon based plant life.

Oh wow.
I'd hate to be in the shoes of that policeman who shot the mayors dogs.

Yeah. Dude shot a lab in the back
I heard a collective groan of good and decent police officers across the world when I heard this.

This is exactly why PG sucks.
The officers who shot should loose their jobs, and not be allowed to work anywhere that requires a firearm.

Damn, that sucks. But do you think we'd be hearing this story if he wasn't the mayor? ---------------- Play EVE: Downtime Madness v0.83 (Updated 7/3) |

Well, actually on a local level I would say yes. Just two weeks ago a kid that I am separated by one degree was arrested for possession of 25 lbs of weed and it was on the local news.

Actually there are several cases of these incidents. In fact discussions about pit bulls have been high due to related stories.
A couple years back a officer responded to a call and when the home owner answered the door his year old pitbull went to greet the officer. Dog was in no way aggressive but the officer freaked and shot the dog in the head which led to a huge dispute. (LA or SF can't remember exactly)
There was also a case of a mailman shooting a dog once.

sometimes it feels like there's nothing much separating the people who protect us, from the people they should be protecting us from. they both seem to be getting away with the foul stuff they do... if there were to be *one* difference, it would be that we pay the one side with taxes, or should I say 'protection money'?
meh, I'll shut up now.

The U.S. kind?
Little known fact: It was actually standard in many cities for a while until postmen starting going crazy hence the term 'going postal'

The entire Prince George's county law enforcement is out of control
"In June, a suspect jailed in the death of a police officer was found strangled in his cell."
Cop killer murdered in solitary confinement
No one will ever be convicted for this crime. If you really want to be amazed by what law enforcement can get away with then google Chicago Police corruption and be astounded, or perhaps not..

So they knew in advance the drugs were being sent to innocent people and then picked up by someone else (at least thats how I read the article) and the do a full on armed raid?
The Drugs were delivered by a sodding undercover officer, could he not have gave the hoseholders a headup or could they not have had some kind of contact first? No heads up for local PD, no idea who lived there (and they delivered the ****ing package!!!!)
What a bunch of ****ing yahoos... ========= "I am not saying there should be capital punishment for stupidity, but why can`t we just take the safety labels off everything and let the problem fix its self |

How exactly are labradors threatening?
The police over there just lost any and all credibility just for that statement.

They were black labradors so maybe that can shed some light on why the police opened fire and chased the survivor into the back yard to finish him off.
