hi there!
anyone knows the actual speed record in eve for inty's?
just have gone a bit faster than 42 km/s with skills, rigs, imps and command bonus in my claw.
knowing that there are some little helpers that i might not be able to use before the speed-patch is coming (combat boosters, minmatar command ship, skirmish warfare mindlink) i can imagine speeds higher than 50 or 60 km/s to be possible.
have some of you gone that fast already (without accidently doin' the time warp again  )?

I think the speed record is something like 60km/s in an Amarr HAC. I'm not sure exactly which HAC or what they did (oversized MWD maybe).

Highest speed attained by an interceptor is around 62KM/sec, if I remember correctly. The Vagabond holds the record for the fastest ever speed at around 95KM/sec.

Don't know about inties but you can get a Skiff easily above 1km/s.

Think speed needs nerfing now.
I had a malediction that 270,000.
I was beaten hands down by Rav's Scorp at 1,000,000.

Pre MWD / AB stacking nerf. I put 8 MWDs on my scorp, it caped out in a few seconds but got going 1.87 AU/s

Yes, because speed nerfing should be based on a ship fitting that can deliver 0 dps, accelerates like a battleship, has a turning circle of half a solar system, can't even reach its maximum theoretical velocity before capping out and has no other conceivable use than setting speed records.
Oh, wait, now that I mention it, that would explain a lot...

I sat at an onlining hostile POS, and then watched my ship get ejected rapidly from the shields when they went up. |

my personal speed record is 4.8 km/sec in a t1 vigil. not much, i know. i remember how great i felt when i broke the 1 km/sec barrier.

My fastest was bouncing out of a planet. I forget how fast that that was, but I'd definitely describe it as "ludicrous speed." in terms of speeds that actually matter, i got up to 8.5 km/s in an Ares with a gistii mwd. Anything faster than that requires more isk than I'd ever consider spending.
And, frankly, I didn't think the Ares was much use at that speed. I stuck the MWD on my Crow, which goes a lot slower, but is more useful.
