I'd like to apologize to any players I may have offended during the course of my lowsec hub query. I did come in with an honest question, but left with an attitude. I feel that the reception a new player such as myself received was unnecessarily harsh, but so too were my responses unnecessarily combative.
Most of us are veterans of one game or another, or genre. When we move to a new game and a new community it can be easy to forget momentarily that there are others more established than ourselves. In my case I've been gaming online since the days of 300 baud modems and 4 Mhz cpu's, but that doesn't give me any special place in these forums and I recognize this.
Regards and let's get back to gaming.

No worries mate, I was going to post something about heading to LGK, but I realized it wasnt productive, so I kept it to myself. I too had a 300 baud acoustic at one point. --Meph

What I miss most: Having time to go for some coffee when you turn on your machine.

You got a second coffee break while you waited for the busy signal to clear on autodial. =P

Nope. I warned Katrar that his thread might even get locked by a mod because it is not really market related. Added complication is that it might get seen as very egoist to start his own thread for his apology. But I should add that he's from a closer knit community so I don't think he's quite cognizant of the scope of this community (and thus it's forums). However I've made personal contact with him, got him to join up in my favorite public channel, and school is in session. I'm no Hexxx looking to create disciples to go forth and change the socio-economic landscape of Eve... but perhaps I can help knock off the rough edges so that Katrar will earn the respect he so clearly desires. I'll just have to try to keep him from developing my mean streak. One arse is enough I say. And since I said it... it is true.

No need to apologize. Most here have pretty thick skin and (generally) any harsh responses usually fall into the "tough love" category. I, for one, would rather be spanked in a thread than in-game.

Apologizing is a mature move on your part. +Respect for that, no hard feelings.
