I think there is the possibility not to pay the bills you get from the stations for slots and offices. Carpe Diem |

I have had factories demanding payment for a fair while now but I moved out of the area and now face a 50+ jump to release them. Unless they are bugged and have been released due to lack of payment I still have the demand to pay the bill.
Would be nice if you could have an option to say do not pay the bill. That way it would tell the Corp that owns the station you do not wish to continue the lease.

Should b a buton at the top of the factory to cancel rent. Right up there where you select to install a bp.
Where is this factory located?

There is a button yes and I did so on several I had when I moved but forgot about 2 of them (and before I get flamed I only had a few I am not a hoarder but use them) but for those of us who are not within the vacinity it just is not practical to go all that way just to cancel a factory slot and then go all the way back to where we have moved to.
People are just not going to do it. Which would you prefer, long hours of boredom travelling to and fro to cancel 2 factory slots or just not pay them and continue having fun. I know which I'd prefer.

I'm in the same boat, I have slots in the Sinq Laison region. My corp is now based in the Forge region, why should I have to give up my valuable playing time to go back there to manually cancel these slots?
Also again as I have posted in just about every slot thread, in most systems you don't get charged more then the initial rent. Once you pay for it, it's yours for life. CCP needs to stop patching and start fixing these issues. But they don't listen!!!

This sucks!!
From a GM
I'm sorry to say that at the moment there is no way to cancel an office. The rental period is 30 days. You should file a bug report suggesting that a cancel office button be implemented. Then the developers will hopefully implement it soon.

As far as I'm aware, the rental fee for office slots is still only 1 isk per 30 days, ie why do they even bother, why don't they just say renting an office is totally free.
This is ludicrous of course, and many corps cannot have corp hangars to manage stuff between members cos there ain't no office space available anywhere.
I think offices should be charged 100,000 rental per 30 days minimum. Also I think that the number of offices should be limited to the allowable number of members in the corp, ie related to the corporation management skill level. Otherwise, we have a situation that there are more offices than corp members, so who is going to do all the office work then?
Thanks Marduk
