I know they used to, but im sure I read somewhere that they were changed so they just did a lot of damage and webbed. Basically if I jumped into high sec (im a pirate) in a slowish ship, would I still be webbed scrammed and wtf pwned, or would I be able to warp away and gtfo.

If you are involved in Faction Warfare and enter enemy highsec, the spawns that respond to you as a FW member, will not scramble you, only web and shoot. If you jump into a highsec and your sec rating is too low, you get normal response.

they web you, then about 5 seconds later they scram you, i made a trip from rens to jita in a abaddon while -10 on my alt

this might be a noobish question, but i have to wonder, what happens when someone with a -5 or lower status jumps into high sec, do they get concorded, or do the faction police show up or what?
ive seen low sec status people jump into high sec in shuttles, and the universal warning that shows up, but never concord or anything like that

if you are -5 you get faction police responce in highsec, they dont scram but they webb you into warp :)
players can scram you tho if you are -5
but if you resently been global flaged you might get truble with gates not leting you jump even tho agro is over! waited my 15 min timer and then in highsec I couldnt use gates.. got a message that your criminal timer is over x min ago :P but I wasnt geting shot so I just went afk untill I could jump :)

You won't make it into high sec, they'll scram you at the gate.

You can easily pass through hisec in a bc.
Players are the only danger, and only if you are flashing.
I guess the same can be said about a fast-aligning bs (maybe fit some istabs/nanos), but I didn't test it.
Doesn't criminal timer mean you get concorded in hisec, even if you got it by shooting stuff in lowsec?

Jumping into highsec with a GCC will get you insta-concorded.

Whilst this seems to be true in caldari space, when im insta webbed into warp even in a slow ass BS - in amarr space, they scram you before webbing you.
I suspect some difference between the nacvies by race

In highsec, you have two choices.
Be fast enough to warp off without getting targeted.
Or be slow enough to the point where you get locked and get webbed, instawarping.

Faction navy show up to pwn you not concord unless you actually agress while in high sec.

(b) active global crimal Flag: hi concord, how are the donuts?
(c) outlaw security status but no active flag: customs npc -> webs/scram/jam/dps
(a) I know from being -5.something to minmatar, (b) and (c) only from seeing other people, but should be right.

You may travel safely through any system in a battleship with a negative security rating and hopefully players that don't attack you.
Simply fit your battleship with a MWD. Hold your cloak until the police show up, then warp to your destination and immediately activate your microwarpdrive. You should instantly be aligned and you will be webbed into warp.
