Hello Everyones,
Because there is some problems with the launcher these days (looks like the data downloaded is corrupted for some and download rollback from 25% to 0%), because I can get patch files simply on another computer where EvE client updates correctly and finally because many peoples found the patch files uploaded was usefull, I'm making this thread.
To install the patchs, it's very important to :
- Follow the right order (so check your client version, then follow the link name next version you need)
- Use the launcher to install it (Tools button on top right of the launcher)
- In this settings window, go to Patches tab then click on Import)
- Choose the downloaded file, patching and then ready to Play (if all the patches applies).

Other files will be posted here as long as the launcher have problems.

I will need more informations about your problem.
1. How do you try to update your client (method) ?
2. What's going on exactly when you use that way ?
3. What is your client version (currently) ?
4. Do you try adding patch manually ? |

Thanks for the pic, As i see inside, it try to download the patch and display error (with log file, which is maybe interesting to read or past here anyway).
But to clarify, did u used "Tools Button" at the top right of the launcher and imported patch files as explained at the top of this topic ?
Or did u used this patch files with another way ? |

It's not normal it tries to download any patches after applying the imported and downloaded patches here.
I encourage yourself to try again importing patches in the right order, one by one and when all done, launching the game.
Also what is your client version actually ?
And finally, if u still with that error, pasting here the content of the error log file. I'm not sure to be able doing anything but I can try.
Not sure, and last one, in what language u play EvE ? Maybe the english patch files are different in another language and is shown by your client as corrupted ? |

I can see in your pic the file is in C:\Documents and settings\Local settings\Temp\nsh42A.tmp\patch_win.exe.log
I'm not sure if the problem can be related but I think most of the players in EvE using Win7, not XP.
Also not the launcher version, I mean EvE client version. |

You have to activate hidden files.
Inside explorer, press alt key, u should have a menu, go to Tools, Folders options, inside display tab, check up "display hidden files, folders and drives" and press Ok.
u should see it now. |

POST UPDATED.
Ok for the log file, it looks like the same as many users got recently... data corrupted.
They all resolved this by applying patches here manually.
It looks like the manual patch install failed somewhere. It should be not if you import patch version that follow your game client version.
Or it is a problem with the patch system code coupled with your system configuration, and about this, only CCP knows.
Long way but if the Data is corrupted, the game could be re-installed entirely. |

I'm pretty closed sure the problem cones from manual patches was not applied correctly.
I still need your game version, mine is actually 7.30.353549, writted on the top left of the client, when I run it. But maybe you are not able to run it ?
Before re-installing, we will try together a last time updating manually your client. |

Well firstly, you will use repair tool run as administrator and follow all the process entirely. If it try to update after that, let him do, comfirm, and return me any errors here, or not if all the process was done successfully. |

Ok,
1. remove all past patch files in your download folder. To have this place clear.
2. Get the fourth patch : http://wta.travel/upload/EVE_Online_352940-353549.rar
3. Uncompress it with winrar (u should have EVE_Online_352940-353549.patch once uncompressed.
4. Run launcher
5. click on Tools button
6. Go to patches tab
7. click on Import
8. select EVE_Online_352940-353549.patch on your download folder
9. Press Ok to patch.
10. Try to launch game. |

It should work by the same way, untill CCP correct launcher and correct problem.
It looks like the problem occur only on specific OS or configuration. |

But ...
I like things done properly like, all files compressed, on a fast web server, with clean presentation for peoples using and finding it simply, with same files naming convention and prepared by the same way.
Also, i'm sure there is many another threads purposing some patch files different than our two threads, and nobody gets disapointed about it. |
