Ok... all the crybabies and people who get blown up by nanos... SO WHAT... its how the game was made... so please stop nerfing things for once...

We just had a massive fleet battle with the enemy forces being 80% comprised of nano ships. Was the worst thing any of us have ever seen in this game.

Actually, it's not how the game was made. Someone at CCP hq thought "lets intreduce rigs and at the same time boost speed mods a little". Well they overdid it and suddenly ships went faster then the rest of the game was designed for. Look at precision missile explosion velocity for example. Or drone velocity. Back in '05 vagabonds did like 3-4k, interceptors like 3-4k too (because we tanked our ceptors) and no other ships was really going fast at all. And you know what we pvped and had loads of fun. I personaly trained max speed skills and I could fly a vaga before the nano boost, but I can also fly alot of other ships and races so now Im loling at people who trained navigation and vaga skills to lvl 5 and nothing else not realising all things gets nerfed in the end. Adapt or die.
As a special treat. Watch this movie I made 2005, in the middle there is a dogfight between 2 ceptors on each side. Not he best quality but note the speeds, fastest of the lot is the crow who runs away in the end who does 4.2k. Linkage

Hmm.. keep it the way it was. Sure, I'm up for that. Remove all rigs, T2 ships and T2 mods. Remove missions and stacking penalties. No cap ships, POS, moon mining, complexes, Cosmos or research.
Back to the days where having a cruiser was a big deal.
Oh, you didn't want to go that far back?? But we could fit multiple MWD's on a single ships and had BS's going 40km/s+.. should be speedy enough for you

They must be idiots then or you are just thinking that every hac moving more than 1k/s is a nanohac.

Cool, I want my 5 multispectral jammer II, 1 sensor booster II (remove scrips), armor tanked raven. I could fight 3-4 other bs in that beast. I loved it :)

No, the problem was Nano. There is no counter fit. There are a few ship who could counter Nano, but that doesn't count.
It's ok to have ludicrus speeds, if you can fit enough tracking computer/enhancers to counter them in pretty much any ship. Then speed is a counter to gank ships (only damage mods), gank a counter to tracking and tracking a counter to speed. But when you are required to fly just 1 ship, it's flawed.

No, the problem was Nano. There is no counter fit. There are a few ship who could counter Nano, but that doesn't count.
Tracking is not a counter to nano its a counter to needing to tackle nano cos if you bring enough alpha dmg a ship goes pop without the need to tackle it.
Webs, nuet, logistics, ewar are all counters to nano that need as much team work and piloting skill to be successful at as the nano its self needs to be successful.

this. gallente militia is no different.
Why didn't you fit and plan correctly or do you think that you should not gather intel on hostile forces in regards to ship types and their speeds before you engage?.
This is not a nano issue its a lack of planning and skilled/smart play that lost you that battle.
