Fix didn't die nor entered in a vegetating state, they were fighting in the drone regions. I'm not saying they were the best alliance EVE had ever seen, I'm saying that when they were taking just too much heat they tried to adapt and rething their strategy.
What would have been funny is if RZR managed to had lost a titan to TRINSURG but still would have sorted their things together and pushed the ballance on the otherside to make trinsurg disband and leave.

It's a hell of a lot better, than saying that an alliances greatest single accomplishment is 'not disbanding'.
And in a point of fact, were it not the case that RZR did everything propped up by others, they probably would have disbanded by now.
So it really is both a terrible point, and a moot one. A rare combination of CAOD poasting failure. |

Ya see whats funny about that? RZR never did this because RZR alone can NOT do this. Its weak alliance held only alive by sheer amount of blobbers they can rally. Never did anything alone and never will. Same for TCF tbf - you tried once, you failed big time. And yes - you were broken by same napfest (MM+RZR+D2+whoever else was there).
So next time show if ya can do something alone before trying your pathetic smack. Because atm not many alliances were up to doing things solo w/o another 5-10k players backing them up.

I asked you what things of significance RZR achieved on their own, that is the only answer you gave. If you don't like your own answer, come up with something a little more substantial.

You and I both know there is no such thing as death in EVE. I chose to play the game in a certain way, as do TRI. That is what we were discussing. If you blob because you fear 'death' of some pixels, then you have my sympathy.

Omeega my dear friend, you don't really believe being able to form the bigger blob is really a great accomplishment do you? I think the "coalitions" ultimate failure has shown that with enough hardware even a giant blob isn't enough to "win".
While Tri may spew alot of stuff on the forums, in game we have generally stood without a massive blob backing us up. Even now, we fight against an alliance 3X our size, with many of its friends helping in many of the engagements we have had.
You may think that having "great friends", ie, being able to put together a fleet of 600 is something to feel good about...I think its a fairly lame...

I dont think thats true about rzr, but I think you just agreed with his point. He doesn't think rzr are worth a damn because they dont do anything on their own.

TBH, depends on what you consider worthwhile? Everyones opinion seems to differ on that one. Wish we could get devs to sticky a list of shit that was worthwhile for talking about on caod.

As an alliance mate said, what is worthwhile?
Different people fight for different reasons, in different styles. There will always be conflict in opinion. Some alliances like to fight a fight they know they're going to win, due to differing circumstances...numbers, skill, hardware, TZ etc. One person would say that a worthwhile action is taking a large amount of space, no matter the cost or numbers involved. Another would say that fighting alone no matter the outcome is a worthwhile feat.
Other alliances will simply say that doing worthwhile things means that they've improved their region economically, new stations etc. You will always find conflict between alliances who are part of 'empires', and smaller alliances trying to do it on their own.
Who is right? Noone...is all a matter of perspective.
tl;dr - pointless argument.

I wasn't angry you silly little boy, there is a very big diffrence between anger and complete disgust at attention spamming children like BE, perhaps next time little ald you could stop, think what your about to post and then type, and then re-read the post to make sure you have typed a mature repsonce?
Just a little idea, everything i said about them was true and you know it :) Whether you agree or not is immaterial, im not looking for people to agree with me, fact is fact verses any kind of logic being flawed into a stable argument, it makes no diffrence either way, attacking me personally proves not point other than your own immaturity. Unfortunately, the game requires blobs to dislodge well defended systems. NC didn't design the EVE mechanics. I am sure they would love to send in 10 people to take out an undefended system. I guess you have never tried to take out a cyno jammer with 200-300 defenders. What do you think they are going to take it out with, harsh language?
Quote:

That is a load of tripe. It is well known that Tri had a non-aggression agreement with the NC in that neither side went after eachother's assets but could shoot eachother's ships, it was as carebear as you can get.
Tri finally broke that agreement when they decided to "help" Insurgency, and I use that term loosely. On the back of your support the legion of small time PvP Tri friendlies banded together, Tri was the flagship of the Trisurge conflict, everyone knew Insurgency would at best be a speed bump alone. Then at the most critical point in the conflict Tri abandoned Insurgency and the bandwagon of alliances to... attack Hydra.
The aftermath of that every alliance that went against the NC was destroyed, self-imploded, drama bombed and was routed out of space.
Quote:
You may think that having "great friends", ie, being able to put together a fleet of 600 is something to feel good about...I think its a fairly lame...
Yeah, I am sure Insurgency and the half dozen odd alliances that went to war against the NC because of your support of Insurgency feel great about the quality of Tri's loyalty.
NC may have many flaws, one thing they do have is you can bet on your life Razor, MM, Iron, etc wont walk out on eachother and leave them to die.
Anyone can destroy something, it doesn't take anything special, creating something and keeping it going when everyone tries to rip it down, that takes character. Hitting Hydra, again, when the NC have the GBC fighting on the front probably highlights the difference between the NC as an entity and Tri as an entity. They are just poles apart.
I honestly hope Tri are a BoB pet because that is a damn site better than just hitting Hydra again just because you perceive them to be a soft target when they are pre-occupied in a more meaningful conflict.

As we've said time and time again, taking Hydra's space is simply a way to move the "unsavory element" next door to Morsus Mihi, Pure, RZR*, and the other NC alliances. There's nothing particularly compelling about Hydra space, except that they don't deserve to own it. What it does is put us literally less than 8 jumps in any direction from people who want to fight us.
Also, lol, we don't "perceive them to be a soft target". They are a soft target. They're not "pre-occupied with a more meaningful conflict". Right now they're pre-occupied with wondering why their leaders refused our offer of surrender terms that would include evacuation rights.
Now, can we take MM's space? I don't know; their 500 titans in one system with a cynojammer up would be pretty hard to crack. I'm not saying it couldn't be done, I'm just not saying that it can, either. But, what's going to be fun is the fact that we now live next door to them. It's like two neighbors who hate each other - even if neither is trying to move the property line in order to own more real estate, it's pretty likely that rocks will be thrown at windows, and flaming bags of poo will be placed at doorsteps shortly before doorbells are rung.
*(I actually like RZR. There I said it. I like fighting them.) --
