As all the ALTS (not jump clones) that I have do not receive the benefit of the training that the others complete, I should not be restricted to training just one character at a time. Can you please change this restriction???

No, this should stay the same other wise, we will have people training a perfect pvp alt, perfect indy alt, and perfect research/spy/what have you, alt. It would also allow for training alts to sell.

Each character is a separate person. That's why they don't all train the same skills at the same time. One guy doing math homework in Chicago won't make another guy in Denver any better at math.
One character trains per account, because you can only play one character per account at once.
As was stated already, if you could train several, but only play one... then people would just train Alts to resell later on. Imagine playing your way up for a year, and in the meantime, raising a nice little Titan pilot for later profit.
And of course, there's the almighty dollar (euro/yen/etc). CCP has found that it's better for THEIR wallets if players require several accounts to raise several characters at once. Why would they ever make it easier for you to do the same, while taking money out of their pockets?
