That money is obviously fake. I wouldn't sell anything to the guy in the video.
On a more serious note. As someone who counts cash daily, it makes me think about it a lot.
And, even though the last way seems the best, as someone who uses that methond, you can still miss bills. So it's probably no more efficient than the other ways.

Originally by: Lance Fighter Some of those are interesting (the guy dropping money on the table to count it... lol :D ) But yea, the basic card counting method (the final one presented) seems most logical. To me, it even appears to work with non-uniform bills (euros), as long as you count the numbers instead of how many bills, which most of the other methods seem to do.
This raises an interesting point. Since American money is all the same size and shape (and color until recently), we actually have to pay attention to what's printed on the bills. So how do these counting methods work with differently-sized bills? Are some better than others?
Maybe it's because I'm good at spatial awareness, but I always found it easier to deal with European currency because they're both different colors and different sizes than it was my own, native examples (up until recently in one way). Thus I didn't need to give more than a passing glance to know the difference between one pound and five just by size, let alone color and design.

Last time I was there, and it's been 18 years, I think they had pound notes. The locals loved giving them to me since they apparently prefer the coins for themselves.

Bank of England ú1 notes were withdrawn in the late '80s, I think. You can still get some Scottish and Channel Island ú1 notes though.
Well that explains it, I remember them from my trip back in '84.
