i and my corp have about 4 million points each and have literally dozens of friends who have the sameish skills in other small corps and having talked to them, they all have told me they have the same problem as me and my corp...
That of lack of things to do/places to go...
we want desperately to leave empire space (as we have outgrown 4k rats), but after consulting with several large alliances, we have been told point blank that we are not welcome and will be destroyed on sight!!
we could challenge the big alliances, but we wouldnt stand a chance, and wouldnt be able to finance the loss of a huge number of ships, as opposed to the alliance who could loose a bs and not really feel it.
so we stick to empire space, and eventually loose interest in a game which has no challenge (empire) or a total gank fest (0.0 alliance)
as i stated earlier, there must be literally hundreds of players reaching 3-5 million mark who have out grown empire but due to the selfishness of a few mega corps, are stuck with the new players and their 4k rats...
any advice?

MP: Ohhhh we used to DREAM of livin' in a corridor! Woulda' been a palace to us. We used to live in an old water tank on a rubbish tip. We got woken up every morning by having a load of rotting fish dumped all over us! House!? Hmph.
EI: Well when I say "house" it was only a hole in the ground covered by a piece of tarpaulin, but it was a house to US.

Alliances mostly occupy a few systems in 0.0. Most of it is still unoccupied, and although they might not be the best systems they are almost certainly better than what you are having in empire.
It's still dangerous, yes. But danger is fun, and you learn how to survive

Get your self and your buddies together and take a trip up to a place called insmother .
no one lives their and theirs a station up their that no one uses its a nice quite part of 0.0 space mate with lots rare ores

Try to contact an agent from Stain, your corp could be eligible. I would normally say Bared Bel'Mader, but he's kinda occupied atm...give him a ring he'll talk, we'll talk...do lunch ..l8r

Send scouts, make lots of bookmarks and send your most diehard pilots out there to mine and get the point across to the few alliance pilots that still can muster any interest in actually chasing you that their lockdown is coming to an end.

I'll be giving you a call tonite to see if we can work something out for you and your corp.
I'm currently looking for groups of people like you are talking about. Wether or not what I have in mind would work depends on your zones of activity and some other stuff, but we should talk about it anyways.
And about being turned down before, there's ways to get in, and there's ways to get in if you get my drift. Knowing people in an alliance is key to being invited in.

Hey dude,
I must say we have a similar situation, but we are all having fun nontheless
There is lots of fun to be had..
One of my favorite bits is doing kill missions for agents... get urself a lvl3 and ur looking at 25k rats to 85k in 0.5+ space
have fun and don't dispair.. talk to me if i'm in game... lots of possibilities

Hmm, maybe somthing I should add.
I have about 6 million skilpoints myself only (damn inefficient at skilltraining), and I've been out in 0.0 since november if not longer.
Skills arent whats stopping you, experience is.
