Is there a way to scan for a certain ship in a system or is one forced to fly through all the areas ? |

you can use the scanner, which is now on the main HUD, set range to max ans scan.. the only downside is that when you find something / someone and its out of a certain range theres no way to warp to it. which if you ask me seem a little daft. you can do a 'show info' on it to see what it is, but id be damned if i can fly to it.. something needs to be implemented which would make exploration more fun, perhaps a skill which can enable a 'warp to' range on the scanner the higher the level the further the 'warp to' just my 2 isk worth. ______________

Heads-Up-Display.
What does it mean? The numbers/readouts on your viewscreen.

Yeah, a Scanner skill that allows you to be able to warp to people outside your range would be nice.

Really? I had no idea this was like this, how far is the warp to range? I have GOT to try more experiements with my scanner if this is true, as this is close to what I was asking for a few days back with a sensor map like the one in homeworld where we could plot a warp to empty space :)
And could follow people :)

Just to let you know the warp to range is about 150km. If you are closer than that you can't warp to it. So have a micro warp drive equipped and it can cover that in no time. "For the hero there is no death. For the coward there is no life." |
