Womanly duties? You're assuming there won't be any "Crying Game" type surprises. :)

Yeah I think they did actually, I have a vague recollection of it. If you look way back on the EVE-I news, you should find it.

I have rarely enjoyed flaming as much as i enjoyed the holocaust that ensued in the EVE-I thread concerning the wedding.

Yes there was a wedding last year. 26th of june at 22:00 hours eve time Kronus and Vasques Kroegler got married. We actually have some screenies on our site. Alot of polaris and ccp¦ers showed up with battleships and titans. It was actually great fun from a roleplaying view. And no nobody attacked during the ceremony. It was in Onga. I am not sure if it is still there but there was a ceremonial circle there. As a wedding gift the couple did get 200 Bistot. CCP actually changed Vasques last name in Kroegler. It isnt sad it is just having fun.
How do i know this all ? Well i was there as a witness

So that's why that circle is there?!
I was wondering if it's related to some agent mission and it turns out it was used for a wedding!
I like the idea that players/corps can matter in this game. Many MMO(RP)G games lack this kind of feature. -- Holi

Beats meeting people drunk at a bar, going home with them, having a baby together and nothing in common.

Quite right!
Those ceremonial grounds are in fact in Onga, as well as New Caldari, and another system I can't recall at the moment. There may be even more...They were placed there by CCP for a reason, and I'm quite positive it wasn't for ganking ceremonies.
There is much more fun to be had in EVE, aside from endless mining and ganking.
Kind regards, MrBinary

There have been marriages, and there will be more. Altho some of our not-so-female-oriented crowd don't care much for them, some people find real life partners in this game as much as in other online worlds _____________________________ I say hey sky, s'other say I won say, I pray to J I get the same ol' same ol. |

People used to get chars married back in EQ, but that was mainly to have an excuse to go to Kelethin the Elven Tree City and run the rope bridges while completely drunk, ingame drunk i mean, oh that was fun.....
A game were you could get drunk and risk certain death by running along tiny rope bridges hundereds of feet in the air all the while people betting on who'd die first LMAO --------------------------------------------------------------
