I have restarted my computer 5 times. I can connect to anything on the web,(here I am) but EVE client won't load. I click on the icon for Eve, it pops up to my desktop, the second window for Eve opens, then nothing happens and the taskbar tab for EVE sits there mocking me. I notice CCP is/will-be dinking with Singularity today... Possible connection? Coincidence of misfortune? Gremlins? Suggestions?

I'm having this same issue. Moving cache/settings folders did nothing. Frustrating!
I'm on Vista x64 Ultimate and EVE was working last week. There have been Windows updates but besides those I can't imagine anything else I've done would affect EVE.

Also having this same problem. Updating Directx did not help. Any other ideas, anyone?

I'm having this problem too. Extremely frustrating. Tried clearing my cache, and ran DXdiag. It just started for me yesterday at around noonish.

ive been trying to log into jita for the past five plus hours now, get to loggin in screen, then try to enter game and thts as far as it goes for the last five hours, not sure if its jita lag or the game..

i too am having this problem, i tried waht that other thread stated and that did nothing but waste my time... anyone else have an idea on how to fix this or is this something ccp has to do?

As in system? None of my characters are in high traffic zones, but even if they were thats a different problem. I don't even get to the login screen, and "jita crashes" just happen after logging in and choosing a character.
