I run kill missions for Minmatar Rep Fleet and Rep Security Services. They're pretty good money unless I get sent out to kill Amarri ships that have strayed into Republic space. Then I get paid a 25-30k fee (with a bonus of around 25-30k or maybe some medium containers or whatever) to go kill a Maller and some frigates. Unlike other kill missions Amarri ships have no bounty and Mallers are rather tough to kill so I earn a max of 60k for 15 minutes of work. Now, I like defending the Republic and killing the slavers as much as the next Republic loyalist, but come on! Stopping a Thief and his Augoror friends will get me around 300k in fees and bounties while defending the borders of the Republic from evil slavers gets me enough isk to detail my Rupture?
Don't get me started on the Important Kill Missions where I get 25k to go kill a couple of Amarri detectives in shuttles (well, okay, lvl 3 frigates, but jeez...). These are Important?

Don't forget that only the mission reward is paid by your agent, the bounties are from CONCORD.
And while I fully support the idea of putting all Ammarians on -5 security rating, nobody at CONCORD wants to listen

Well I think it's great that CCP adds this roleplaying opportunity to the game; I just wish that the rewards were commiserate to the challenge. As it is I think the lower rewards for more 'role-playerish' missions hurts the role-playing aspect of the game; if monetary rewards were higher for more 'meaningful' (in a storyline/role-playing sense) missions I think folks would be more interested in the storyline and roleplaying, or at least respond in a more 'accurate' way to being asked to go kill someone they 'should' be thrilled to pod.

I am glad to hear the Minmattars are on their knees and can't afford much money for kill missions. Nuponi Nimedaz: "You're a pilot after my own heart, Alastra." |

We Amarr have the same financial issues when called upon to destroy the upstart slaves that call themselves Minmatar. We get around it by calling it sport, rather than missions.
(Good point though, never say no to more isk )

There are no bounties either for killing Minmatar Fleet ships in Amarr missions, so we do it out of pure joy.
