What I can't seem to fathom about Exceed (I did enjoy the nano gang of ishtars into bigger gangs btw very enjoyable to watch progress) and Tri and other entities over time is why after countless times saying that the likes of Hydra/Pure are the worst pvpers or players in Eve that you "gods of pvp" always seem to pick the fights with them, ok we get it you can beat the "worst pvpers in eve" maybe go grab a chunk of kills of another alliance? Unless of course its space like every other large alliance group you are interested in then please disregard my entire post and go right back to taking the space these "worst pvpers in eve" don't deserve to hold. Still though nice find on the ships.

Still though nice find on the ships. I was not in on the decision to attack Hydra, but I'd say its a target of opportunity. Not as PvP-oriented, true. But quite a lot bigger and with allies, but under the current circumstances not an alliance who can blob us to death with 10 other NC alliances. If you look around the map, who else do you think would have provided an equivalent amount of entertainment? There is not that many targets left that don't have the overwhelming chance of a huge blob showing up to ruin it attached to it.

We had started pounding a POS when they showed up with a gang of 150:ish. A fun fight after the initial lag shock but after that it was a great fight over several systems with us chasing them around despite being outnumbered.

Currently, Hydra doesn't seem to form significant fleets on its own anymore, but together with some Pure I'd put their max number at around 80, maybe 100 in fleet. This is simply what i've observed when I was ingame, and I don't intend to smack anyone with it, so if you have more accurate information from Pure/Hydra side, I won't dispute it. Last day(s) was more a POS-bashing game than actual fleetfights, although we did get some intel of fleets forming up to attack us, but they never materialized it seems. Still hoping we get some good fights over the weekend though, weekdays are not always the best time to determine enemy strength and people might be on vacation.
