Good morning ladies and gentlemen,
I ask that all parties in this conflict remember that whatever the reasons for this war, there can be no excuse for some of the terrible things said by pilots on both sides. These forums should not be used for personal point scoring and nasty insults. From either side.
I therefore would like to take this oppotunity to request that all parties agree to a cease fire on these forums.
The war is well and truely on and the continued attempts to flame and prove ones point with logs of this and that are moot and serve nothing.
I have seen alot of combat in this conflict and have seen good, bad and damn near heroic actions from both sides.
In essence what I'm asking is that all parties in this conflict agree to maintaining a good conduct of war. I have had quite a few positive post combat convos with PA pilots and regardless if I win or loose these pilots have been a credit to their corps and themselves.

Could'ent agree more Strike, tiz disheartening to hear pilots who only a few days ago were on the same side being pally pally, turning into teen ranters abusing each other 
Just get on with it, and take whatever action is best for ur intersts, and let the smack disappear so we can all have fun

I actually agree with you entirely Strikclone.
I think yesterday we saw these forums descend into pointless hate where people did forget that it is a game. The political points have been endlessly debated, the war-declarations have gone out, the sides are decided. Those characters who are as good as their word are fighting this out in game with space-ships and teamwork.
Personally speaking I am entirely happy with my allies and its honour to be taking the field with such a good natured, fun, and capable collection of allies. We all stand to learn a lot in this war and write ourselves into another chapter of Eve history.
I personally am going to be toning down my responses a lot to the PA on the grounds that this political stuff literally persuades absolutely no-one.
Nobody crossed the floor yesterday. No-one changed their minds one little bit. All that was achieved was a lot of work for the mods and more bad feelings.
From my perspective this is an IC war for IC reasons and IC I hate and distrust the PA leadership. OOC they are players just like me and I neither know them enough to judge, nor want to henceforth since they are my enemies and the enemies of my friends.
Spy scandals, chatlogs, blackmail, smack, flames ... all this stuff is petty nonsense and if it gets repeated ad nauseum then everybody turns off.
Anyone that hates Jade Constantine in-game should consider getting in a spaceship and doing something about it.
Anyone that hates Jade Constantine out of game should go and have a nice cup of tea.
This war will have only one of two outcomes;
Either the map of the north is re-drawn forever with the PA reduced in number and stipped of rogue corps.
Or the PA will have proven itself amongst the greatest combat alliances in Eve by standing firm against an epic coalition of RKK allies and independent pro NAST alliances.
Thats the game. Its afoot. Lets play it.

I have to aggree that things are getting out of hand here on the forums but looking at it i can understand why, my view maybe biased but it is my genuine thoughts and im not posting this to set off anymore flames.
the war erupts, PA were happy to conduct the war in game, JF are well known for there forum tactics, they always do this against their opposition, i believe their are 2 main reasons for the PA/Anti PA threads since this war began :-
A./ there big ingame anti PA Coalition took suprising(to them) losses in the the 1st major battle, this left them fighting the war on the forums.
B./ maybe PA decided that they werent going to sit back and let JF throw endless acusations at them on here without defending themselves.
These are of course my interpritations of what has been happening and are in no way the views of my corp or the PA.

I fought with you last night (or at least chased blobs), and
the conduct of pretty much everyone involved was great.
I don't want to have to deal with teenage insults and abuse

Strikeclone, The battle should be in game and nowhere else so I agree with you.
We should also at all time make sure we have a fun game and I guess there is where the heroic things come from
But as we all know the politics is a large part of the game and it doesnt matter if you or me dont do that part as much, it is still there.
The forum war is also here and and my bet is that neither side want to lose any of the wars.
My war is in game though and there is where I wanna be with my guns blazing.

I have no issue with forum posts and forum wars, if pilots would rather train typing skills than gunnery skills thats their lookout all im asking for is that we tone down the posts. No need to be making any kind of insulting OOC comments and such.
Even in IRL wars there are rules of conduct and such, and many nations honour those rules even if their opponents dont it is a measure of their self worth and self respect.
Treat others as you would have them treat you.
Personally i prefer to "bring it" in combat. So i will see you there my great and worthy allies, and my great and worthy opponents.
This war is a great chapter in Eve, we are all part of that dont spoil it and dont let your fellow corp mates spoil it for everyone.

I agree completly. Let's keep it ingame. I've been reading just about every post written the last few days and I even replied to some. I don't think I can personally take any more of that.
There is a war, let's fightit and let the guns decide who ultimatly emerge victorious.

You need to check your sources, Since the war began i have lost 3 ships in total.
1 Raven (wtfpwnd By Diamond Dog and crew grats DDog :P)
1 Pod (thx again to D.Dog and crew:P)
1 Scorpion lost to uber lag fest (blob war = bad)
1 Punisher which is of course a frigate
However as of this writing i currently have 5 solo kills, and 25 fleet PA kills to my credit. And nearly all of them are battleships.
On balance i would say that I'm doing ok for myself, I'm enjoying the fight, I'm not smack talking.
I'm guessing this is the part where those who want to smack talk will even though i simple started this thread to ask for ppl to stop smack talking.

Since this is hopefully going to be a flame free post I would like to take this time to give credit to the PA. They have done an outstanding job so far defending there space from many enemies. This is just a game. When I lose my ship I try to congragulate my enemy on the kill. Whether they just caught me off gaurd or pulled a well placed attack. I hope this can be a recurring theme among all of us.

Oh most certainly SweatySack, I always congratulate those that kill me and offer my commiserations to those I kill. I think there is mutual respect always between people that do have the courage to fight. Most of the really appalling smack is generally from people that don't.

Please calm down Robeyone. I think pretty much everyone is agreed that yesterdays forum rantfest was a waste of everyone's time and effort. Get in a ship and come fight. Coalition forces are operating in pureblind, you might even enjoy the combat.
I am not trying to criticise you, just suggesting you get involved with the in-game war a little more. I honestly think it will help you relax.

Alex Robey has a point there tho.
I sat in a system with 50 of our ships while Jade was in that sytem.
She spent all that time trying to get us to smacktalk. Some of the language she and lateron one of her allies used not nice.
And yes some of our guys eventually did take the bait and say a few stupid things at which point Jade said she was going to post those comments on the forums.
How do I know? I was there I am one of the people who asked our guys to shut up.
Smacktalking is bad but I also think the people who do it have no right to get on a high horse on the forums.
