So there I was mining ore in my vexor for the starving kids or EvE. I even named the can "Ore for starving kids" thinking what evil person would steal from starving kids.
.....sometime later.
I heard a ship De-cloaking and my can was flipped, Son of a *****!!! I saw an arazu and a toon much older then I. What am I gonna do, my three tec I hornets can do nothing.
So there he was bumping me a bit, and then he starts heading for my RAT wrecks! Thinking he was abbout to steal from me agian I decided to defend myself.
I started heading at him 190 m/s grim faced and determined to fight to the end.
I attacked the flashing red bully. Frist I hit him with my faint warp inhibitor then my fleeting propoulson inhibitor, also activated my small demishihing power system and my small unstable power fluctuator. Next I reecalled the three tec I hornets and relased the 5 tec II hammerheads, and set to work my light neutron modal partical accelerator.
It was a good fight. he pounded my hull with rails and put his drones on me. I had to pop a few cap boosters and turn on my repper, one by one his drones fell to mine and soon the tables turned in my favor.
In the end he self destroyed taking his bounty away from me, but i still took the day IMHO, it was fun most of all and my very frist pvp kill, well besided killing a corpmate while trying to repair him, but thats another story.
So.. I told him GF and not to steal from starving kids, and turned off my warp inhibtor and let him go. tis not in me to pod kill unless it done to me or friends.

Good fight for you. The arazu pilot however was a total newb and shouldn't have been anywhere near a recon cruiser yet though.

Proof or stfu. Not only would you not have a mail if he self destructed, but you cannot, under any circumstances other than war, scramble his pod in hi sec.

I got no eve mail about the kill, nor did I recive his bounty, his wreck was yellow to me so I assumed he killed himself.
Ive screen shot, dunno if i can post it though, cause it names the person.
what proof do you need?

the wreck is yellow cause he's not in your corp :)

and thats a combat log not a kill EVEmail. unless in my noobness you mean combat log and kill mail are the same.

every nub knows you have to exploze a pod to get a bounty
and no combat log entry if you dont get the finalz blow
so self destroy = you fail at pvp get moar dps's

what is DPS?
i thought you jsut had to blow up the ship to get bounty, cause if you kill a pod in high sec you loose sec status right?
yeah i fail at pvp, but i just started. everyone learns.

yes pod killing is bad
yes you have to activate his clone for him to collect bounty

good kill Kyrillz, and props for clever drone tactics, at least you know being a t2 ship his insurance did'nt even cover his costs. anyone who flames you in the post will be another small epeen can flipper.

Very nice kill there - just a pity the arazu pilot was a big noob who shouldn't even be flying a battlecruiser yet. Seriously - he should have had you damped to hell so you couldn't set your drones on him, and he should have warp disrupted you from at least 35km. If he had a clue, you wouldn't even have been able to get in range to warp disrupt him, and you would have rapidly died. Nice kill none the less though
