First of all, it's not a whining post 
I was on my way to move stuffs with my shiny bestower, equipped with some named afterburner (Y-S8 and so ...) and transporting some cargo expander to not slow my travel (3xAlpha Hull and 1xLocal Hull).
As I was in Yulai (a peaceful 1.0 security level place), some nasty guys (all from Silent Guard) locked me and shot at me with cruise missile. My bestower was gone (hopefully, i've warped out in my pod).
I returned to the gate, and then I saw a Silent Guard industrial, taking my loots. This one wasn't destroyed as he hasn't taken part to the fight ...
How beautiful is the universe ! When you think you are safe, you're shot by the lamest pilots

Ofcourse it's not. We've shot down indys full of minerals plenty of times. in secure space that is. U just need someone to scout with passive targeter & cargo scanner. When a perfect target (indy full of stuff) comes by, a guy or two in kestrels shoot it down. the fourth guy picks the loot with indy. the kestrels are gone, but u can get ALOT of money, if u pick a right target.

The last time, i was full of stuff (to recycle, but full), and they didn't shoot ...
Nevermind I'll have to talk to some enforcers to take some local hull and Y-S8 again

Isn't scanning a ship's cargo considered an act of aggressive? I thought the sentries would open up on you as soon as you scanned.

If sensor dampening isn't aggressive, no way cargo scanning is.

Remote Sensor Dampening didn't used to be aggressive but I thought Dev's had fixed it.

Nice work  And who ever did this - it¦s not lame: it¦s true piracy. Scan them and kill them if they have 50+ mil in cargo hold. True priates don¦t buy ISK on Ebay and they never will use a macro for mining. They work for the money

Actually, this will be fixed soon. In the future, when someone tries to pull this exploit, the real names and addresses of all involved exploiters will be posted in the new 'Eve Wall Of Retards' and an anti-exploiter crew will be dispatched to the homes of said exploiters. This crew will break into the exploiter's home and hang the person exploiting from the ceiling by his nut sack. Then, 25 pound weights will be tied to the exploiter until the weight becomes sufficient to cause him to fall to the floor as his nut sack is torn forcefully from his body. Then the name 'Winky' will be tatooed on his head and the team will place an anonymous phone call to the authorities so that an ambulance may be summoned so that 'Winky' doesn't bleed to death.
It is believed that this policy will deterr any further use of exploits within the Eve universe.

I think this is a valid form of piracy in the game... Like many people have said before me, concord is like the police. They're there to catch the culprit, not stop the crime. Space isn't 100% safe anywhere, and if you think that for a second you're wrong. Now it sucks that you got blown up, but that's what pirates do.

if ur gunna transport lots of mins, take 1 kestral pilot to scoute for you, and if he sees another 2 kestrals waiting at a gate, get him to take 1 kestral out, as 4 devs might not be bale to kill you, less risk.
btw using 4 people is crap, u can do it with 3, and using 4 devs if youve got a good enough skill, u can kill the indie with jsut 1 kestral, bigger payout all around.

After having fought (and died) to Silent Guard in the past, and not being on the best of terms with them, this is kinda depressing to see.
The entire thing seems somehow below them. 
Still a legit pirating tactic though, as far as I'm concerned.

We've caught A LOT of people trying to do this in Amarr. Safe to say they didn't accomplish much, and its fun to spoil their day.
No praise or cash to gain from preventing it, tho the smack treatment we get in local is reward enough ;)

Kinda odd the police don't do anything to the last guy tho no? I mean, if you shoot someone, sure they die and cops can't really prevent that, but generally, when the cops are arresting you and are standing over the body, they don't let joe who ever to take the dead guys nikes..

That would eliminate half the fun of piracy though....
Perhaps if there was some way to implement it in high sec space, then yeah, by all means. Aslong as it has the option to leave open for all

This is a totally lame exploit that CCP doesn't have to guts to address. Instead of calling a spade a spade major changes are in the works which will make frigates totally useless once again.

Frigates are over powered atm and need hit hard by the nerf bat. Also how do you intend to enforce making attacking anybody in empire without a war an exploit? Lifewire has a good thread on the matter how about you go read it.
