The credit for the discovery goes to Lexx, a fellow M3G4er. It was actually unpiloted when we discovered it, we almost managed to destroy it and loot the weapons before the GM flew his pod back to it and made it dissapear... (cloak?)

I've run into it before, same Polaris person too. It's a Polaris ship.
I'm betting this happened on the test server.
If you had stuck around and been courteous and not tried to carjack a polaris person's ride, they might have shown you things FAR more interesting than the Enigma.
P.S. I think (not sure) it's teleportation, not a cloaking device.
P.S.S. Loot polaris weapons? ROFL good luck!

If this photo was taken from the live production system I have a question:
Why are the GM's flying around these insanly powerfully ships (that Frigate is stonger than a cruiser!)? Shouldn't they be helping people?
If this photo was from Chaos, then ignore my question.

Drooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooool. However I must say that a frigate with battleship status is somewhat mindblowing and unrealistic, even if it is a Jovian one.

Actually that's not a Jove frigate. It's a Pirate frigate. Don't know why they use it as a Jove ship in-game. Placeholder I guess.

I know it is supposed to be a jove ship, pirate ship model, but those stats mean that it is capable of taking on a battleship and beating even the most powerful of cruisers with ease.
A frigate that can fit 2 large turrets on plus 5 h50s with heavy missiles and still be highly maneuverable is beyond belief.

Raven battleship has 10 000
and even apocalypse has only 15 000
I cant imagine what kind of weapons this ship could have

Sounds like a polaris ship. And if it is a polaris ship as I believe, it has the capability to teleport, not cloak, and it has no weapons. The polaris ships are given extremely strong defensive stats, to discourage players from attacking them while they go on about their business, but they have no offensive capability,so dont bother trying to blow them up to take weapons off them.

Regarding those 5 Jove ship pictures:
Jesus, I've never seen uglier ships. Those things look like something that might crawl up out of the toilet bowl while you're sitting on it during a nightmare or something.

I'd have to say that the bird doesn't look as if it was ever meant for use in game.
If you look at the lower end of the stats i.e. the targeting ones you can see that they are just on a par with your average frigate, though of course targeting could be massively enhanced what with all the extra slots. But if its such an advanced ship how come its only got 6 gravimetric?

The current population is developing so fast and having the best ships really fast, the first cruisers were made in 2 weeks... I cannot believe that in 5 months, CCP will not release new vessels that are developed more.
Like we develop, the technologie will develop thats the time we play in. We grow stronger, faster and so on. This may be the next generation of ships in eve.

I have also encountered the same ship. A GM named Major Gormur was the pilot. His text was blue in colour. He did tell me that "no player will ever pilot this ship". The GMs just created them so they could fly around and not get touched by any player. It did cloak during the encounter. Heh, I asked him if we could buy the BP. He said no.

Its nice that some people think this will ruin the game, but we allready made battleships. At this rate how long will it take eve till we maxed out our abilities? Except for the skills, i talk about technologies.
