Hello,
I am wanting to leave my corp and join the FW for a while. Problem is I am only .35 with Gallente ( my race ) as far as I can tell.
I have been running ALOT of missions for fed Navy but it doesnt seem to be going up. Or if it is - very slowly. What am I doing wrong? I hear about other newbs like myself (played for about 2mo) getting into the FW. Am I running the wrong missions or just looking in the wrong spot for my standing?

you need to get those storyline missions. for every 16 missions you complete in a row you get the chance of a story line mission which gives you a big boost to your faction standings.
so, the question is for all these missions you've been running have you been getting the story line missions? if not then we need to work out why not to set you on the right track.
Because sometimes you just have to go back to your roots:

yea it take ressonable long to farm the standing with missions specialy for a new player (still learning about the game).
An option its to join a player corporation already in the militia. If you find a good one it will not only let you join FW but also give guidance in your development in the game, if you find a not this good at least you join FW.
My posts DOES reflect the view of my corp and ally...

Lol k well for a while I didnt realise what the story line missions did for my standing I just knew they were really boring so I skipped a few of em but I am doing them now.
Also didnt know if I joina milita corp that it will automatically get me in so maybe I will just do that.

Go do the Gallente COSMOS missions. Look for more info in the missions section of the forum - at the end of each storyline given to you by an agent, there's a storyline mission that can rapidly boost your standing with the Fed.
