If they do everything here how they say, this will make Castor look like a regular weekly patch.

There's another thread about the same thing that didn't get locked, so I don't think this one needs one either  .

You mean like when they did everything they originally said they were going to do with Castor?
All they said they would do is:
1. Player owned stations.
2. Tech 2.
3. New ships.
At least thats all I saw...

Go back and read the old dev chats and csm chats leading up to the "release" of castor. You're on the right track with the POS issue. and New ships, took what? 3 months after Castor to get the first new ship? How long after Shiva goes live will it actually take for any of the promised content to trickle in?
How much of it will be shelved and place on the Kali update feature list?

That "improved" user interface looked over complex, lag excerbating, and not at all an upgrade from the current UI.

Those ppl who insist on complaining about Castor need to get a reality check. Not to be a fanboy but I think Castor did much of what was advetised. Granted, some things were slow or not in yet, but Castor made Eve a truely playable game. Castor was great in many aspects. Those who like to critize irritae me. It is impossible to build a game like this in a static path. If it isnt evadent to you that the dev's have made HUGE improvments to Eve, I feel sorry for you. Even if 1/2 of that shiva stuff comes in with the initial patches I will be happy. FSS, you are getting these upgrades for free! Only a great company like CCP wouldnt try and ring a few more $$ from its player base for such upgrades. Eve barely resembles the game I started playing well over a year ago. It is only getting better.

Looks like we will beable to get faction ships from black market agents and bpc drops on missions. Sweet.
The agent mission journal changes are much better with a map built in and some fat trimmed from the descriptions.
I noticed that in the new ships section, there are new models for the destroyer elite cruisers. I thought they were going to use slightly modded and reskinned cruiser models like they did with the interceptors and other frigates. Not that I am complaining.

Player owned stations are - for anyone with half a brain - as currently phrased in the shiva feature notes - a trap for the unwary.
