Looks like battleships have once again stolen dread roles.
If we distribute pictures of people, does that mean God can file copyright claims under SOPA? |

Dreads have been obsolete almost since release. Battleships are still very much the workhorses of any war - especially POS bashes, where dreads are meant to excel.

1. They said that repeatadly bombarding wouldnt be possible, with specific rules in place, but they hacked it to allow another
2. The orbital bombardment needed the dust player to send the eve player the launch codes, who then had to input it to fire  |

They mentioned size of the strike vaguely at one point, I'd suspect that dreads will have a much larger strike area. |

Because I know. Many alliances are dumb and wastes too much manpower towards POS shoot when they could field fleets preventing the capfleet from getting dropped on thus saving everyone time. Dreads now throw at least >7000DPS with Tactical V on any given tower.

Dreads have been obsolete for a long time now. They are fat, require a lot of support, and are only good for bashing (almost) stationary targets.
Battleships are the war winners in EVE. While Capital ships (except dreads) can take them down, Battleships can perform a wide array of tasks very well where as Caps are more specialized.
Dreads need to be have their roles completely changed and that's the hard part, there are currently no roles in EVE that a dread could realistically do, that something else couldn't do better. |

repeated or continious bombardment would be an issue. Imagine if you put 5 or 10 bs and ith different people assign each a target...No one will be able to get throught the opening at the base, so it helps with exploits/future issues...Each explosion was pritty effective from what i saw, so a few of them coordinated will be tought to get through without been blown to pieces! ANd this is without counting tanks + granades with easy resupply as we saw XD |
