No longer appears to be a priority in CCP's plan. Where aer our Bombers, Special Ops, Deep Core Miners and Gunships?
Much can be said to of Elite Cruisers as well. Instead we will now get a subset. Out of the Elite Cruisers, it seems only Battle Cruisers will make their appearance, no more of the Patrol, Support and Point Defense Cruisers.
I fear no longer can we---as roleplayers---dream of our special Amarr Inquisitor based Bombers attacking Tempests, while Rifter class Bombers attack Apocs, and Gunship Punishers battle Gunship Rifters.
No longer I and fellow role players can dream of this. We can only however dream of watered down alternatives. But I can understand that CCP has priorities in so many other areas. I hope it's worth it. And if time and resources permits, to come back and give us greater depth in the Elite ships field.

I certainly hope you didn't draw this conclusion from the shiva features pages. They can't get EVERYTHING here in time for that.

well i really hope you jumped to conclusions..............
and didnt get some hard fact.
personally i thought covert ops frigs will appear in a month maybe, (if they are pre-shiva, cause youc ant have cloaks without covert ops frigs, rpwise :P)
and the other ships will not be removed from the drawing board, cause you cant have techII guns without techII ships :)
well thats my idea.
All of above post was formulated wth 100% honesty and 100% sarcasm. Now i only need to get drunk
The 3rd turret is the Malediction is missing. Plz make as much noise as possible so that CCP gets us a remedy for that, possibly before X-Mas this year. |

My impression has been that the rest of the elite frigs are a pre-shiva thing. Hopefully they'll start trickling out soon so we have something to play with while drooling over the shiva toys. It's going to be a long summer.

Covert Ops have been rumoured to be coming out at about the same time as Tech 2 weapons.
That is, the big patch this month...

I wish Special Ops frigates would come out to in the next patch, tha alone would change the face of wars in Eve.

Special ops frigs r coming out in the next patch, last dev blog i believe said mid june, after some more server upgrades.

Well a frigate that is better at flying around while cloacked has it's advantages, but really i was kinda hoping they would be able of warping to safespots... But since I havent heard anything about that for a looooong time outside player speculation I really assume it's scrapped.
Ahwell, I guess sitting at a safespot will remain safe  .
