In the course of human events, when it becomes clear that a force has risen that dominates all free space and people alike, the community must rise and unite against that enemy. The people must cast off the shackles of oppression and retake, with force, what rightfully belongs to them. A power has risen from the East. No longer can the forces of power turn a blind eye to this menace. All must unite against the oppressors and push back their tyranny and liberate the homes they now control.
I propose a new coalition. This coalition will consist of friends and enemies alike. Let the petty squabbles of the past be put on hold. Let us face these oppressive reds that threaten us all. Let us become friends until this menace is removed
I have seen how the Reds manage what they control. People work for hours a day to make a decent living and they must pay tribute to their oppressors for the opportunity. This slave labor must come to an end. A day's labor should yield a visible and measured result that benefits the people who live there. A day's effort should not be unduly taxed with the fruits being consumed by the dogs of war. Being used further their oppressive efforts.
Let us, the free people, work together, or face extinction. The eastern threat will undo the economy that we, the people, have spent years building. So let us suspend these petty squabbles and work together to fight the Russians, where ever they are. Let us take back what belongs to us. Let us liberate all the regions under their control! And, let us build a brighter tomorrow.

Nah...they've relied on their supercap blob for too long. The shock of it not being the instant I-Win button will cause a bunch of "elite pvp" alliances to fold. It will be fun to watch. |

I don't think it is fair on the community as a whole that we have to put up with your ugly mug just because your alliance is unable to build and field these *overpowered* ships.
If they are so great, why not use them?
I'll tell you why, because you are a whiny alliance that knows that it can't compete on an equal footing with everyone else. Your leader has to use his position in the CSM to save your pathetic behinds from other players who are just clearly better at Eve than you. When he hears the news that the supercarrier nerf that he has *promised* his little bees may be delayed because of resource allocation he does an about face. His prior position of supporting Incarna is thrown out of the window, exchanged by *outrage* that CCP management won't allocate resources to his pet nerf (of course, being the political wizard that he thinks he is, he does it in the guise of "the greater good of the community").
But you know what? None of that annoys me as much as your face. |

its how goonswarm started, a bunch of guys from the SA forums decided to come and break eve.
they astarted as a hundred nooblets in cruisers and steamrollered head first into the biggest and best alliance around at the time... and despite what happened since, a large portion of the eve base got behind them...
even my corp at the time lent a hand sending myself and 50 others to delve to do nothing more than help kill BOB
will soon be red alliances turn, all it takes is a few people to start a concerted effort... no alliance can field an indefinite number of supercaps... the pilots themselves are going to struggle once it pops
if a group starts to agress them, they will be targeted.
if 5-6 groups start they fight a multi war front.
if eve blobs out into nullsec, they are screwed. |

You canGÇÖt really compare the current situation with the one during BoB war. BoB was never stronger than the rest of Eve 0.0 blocks. During BoB war supercaps were still rare, as they were intended to be. There were no supercap blobs. CCP are responsible for turning supercaps into a perfect Jack of all trades ships which made all other classes obsolete, CCP brought in jump clones, jump bridges and jump drives making Eve universe smaller and easier to control for single entity. CCP preferred not to notice ridiculous amounts of botting that were taking place in the drone regions, the rumors of RMTing on gigantic scale were ignored. Then the safe heaven instinct kicked in GÇô the same ppl that say they are not afraid to use their supercaps and blob the **** out everyone grouped together exactly because the chance to lose their precious when they fly it with 100 other supercaps is the minimal. So called GÇ£elite PvPersGÇ¥ are nothing but PvP carebears. Hopefully CCP will nerf their I WIN button to the hell and back and not only bot masters will have a chance of holding any piece of 0.0 |

Pretending like botting isn't widespread at this point in EVE's evolution....
Everyone in null sec bots this is true, but you get to bot drone poo and that lets you make all of these supers. Regardless of who thinks they are better then everyone else, CCP always nerfs something that is overused in the game. So hug your supers like you hugged your nano'd HAC's because the nerf bat cometh.
But what we really need is a botting nerf srsly....
Systems are being rented out at botting prices, that's when you know null sec is hopelessly down the toilet. |

No... they derped their way to victory... BoB was a militant strategic organization... Goonswarm was soooo much the opposite.. it confused BoB and BoB blew up trying to understand the swarm.. also add a little betrayal lol..
