i'm looking for this film that i watched like 10-15 years ago... The movie has a scene where a giant crawling robot jumped off a really tall building... and the plot involves some guy trying to get into a vault or something..
don't remember the details.. but the name of the movie is, like, on the tip of my thoughts but i just can't remember what it is .. and it's been bugging me for a few days now...

That's not a whole lot to work with, was a live-action movie or animation? Because that changes things quite a bit.

Can you maybe give us a bit more help. Live action with a spidery robot thing and maybe a guy trying to get into a Vault... could it have been a particularly vivid dream after playing too much Fallout?
Anyway have you got any ideas on cast, budget (cheep and cheesy, arthouse, blockbuster, etc), stuff like that?

some questions:
were there any notable actors participating in the movie that you've seen elsewhere? if so, check their IMDB-pages. is it set in the future, present or past... is it sci-fi or fantasy? (some fantasies have robots too) the spider-like robot, did it jump off... or get shoved off? what happened when it landed/crashed? the guy looking for the vault.. was he old, or young? was he the main character? was it the kind of vault you have in a bank... or like a nuclear shelter ala Fallout?

well if i have a lot of information i could have just googled it
the one thing i did remember was that... while trying to get into the vault, one guy remarked that, it's better to drill through the walls instead of getting through the door... since the wall is thinner...
and.. maybe Joseph 9 is right, it's a long time ago and maybe it was a dream or something :( i was just hoping that someone here had some kind of recollection of the movie and can tell me

i'm looking for this film that i watched like 10-15 years ago...

Seriously, this DOES sound like Short Circuit. But not the first, instead Short Circuit 2 : Linkage The robot does jump out of a window of a skysc****r, and some robbers are trying to get into a vault.

Not all parts are uploaded. Sent a message asking how many parts and got a reply from the poster to say they were still uploading them.

but to quote someone making a comment on that page : " Hehehe, IÆve seen this movie late night on Cinemax a bazillion times. ItÆs crap, but watching it with a few friends and a lot of beer makes up for it"
