Which begs the question why would you train something that is blatantly going to be nerfed? If something seems too good to be true, it probably is. Less sheep following and fotm skill training please.

In addition to this particular character, I also have a dedicated Falcon alt, and most of the guys that I fly with have Falcon alts as well, just so we have a half dozen or so on hand at any given time should we need to undock and engage in PVP. We all fly all four races, so no, I'm not FOTM, and neither is the rest of the crew. I was just making a little bit of a joke, seeing as how whatever I tend to completely max out gets nerfed about a week after I complete the training. Frankly I am really looking forward to the nano nerf (not so much about how bad it's going to ruin blaster ships) and the obvious next target is the Falcon. However, if it takes the dev team a year to figure out that the Falcon is horribly broken, then I'll have to be using it every day in order to compete until they nerf it. The only really disappointing thing for me personally is that I just simply enjoy flying particular types of ships more than others, so when one or the other is nerfed or buffed it kinda sucks when that entire section of ships is rendered pretty much ineffective. This is why falcons are going to be nerfed, and hard. IT will take some time because CCP will get massive egg on their face after just boosting them, but it will happen. And yes I also have a falcon alt, and yes they are overpowered SKUNK

With deft humor in this thread daring the devs to take note of the present imbalance amongst recons, which threatens to make us all falcon pilots or victims of falcon pilots. O7 What I'm still waiting for is the Arazu buff. Since damps were heavily nerfed to prevent every ship from fotm fitting one the next logical step is for CCP to buff the Arazu to Falconian proportions. I foresee Celestis bonuses becoming 15% for damp effectiveness and 20% for damp range, and the Arazu getting a 20% strength and range with a 10% less cap use, scrapping the stupid disruptor range. The Arazu then will also be able to take 4 or 5 opposing ships out of a fight then at 200km and if anything starts getting close cloak and warp away. In that coming golden age of Eve, thanks to the emasculating power of fleets of Falcon and Arazu, noone will be able to shoot anyone else, no pimped out battleship will die crushing the pride of it's GTC selling owner, and peace will finally come to the empires. I hope that when the Arazu is buffed to Falconian proportions I will have the intestinal fortitude to challenge the devs to nerf my then beloved Arazu as you sir do here now. But, I fear I may not, and I may instead oppose all nerfs so that the glorious day of no ship being able to die to the muzzle of any other ship might arrive. Again O7 O7 O7

I've never gotten my falcon to jam seven targets at once, do it from 200 KMs, or any of the other things that apparently happen in eve, all the time, by every falcon pilot that attacks some one. Its sort of daunting. If it gets nerf bat ecm / ewar wise, can we have some damn drones now ?
