Many of the threads here seem to agree that EVE needs to be fixed. Here are a few things that would certainly help the game.
1. Get rid of WTZ and replace it not with warp to 15km (that's still too close), but warp to 30km. Disable all bookmarks within 1AU of any celestial object.
2. Cut the speed of ships by 2/3, across the board.
3. Cut the number of access points to 0.0 to one access point per Empire -- for a total of only four access points in all of EVE.
4. Place level 3 and higher missions all in 0.4 or lower security space, get rid of all loot drops from missions, and reduce bounties from missions and belt rats by 2/3.
5. Limit buying and selling of goods to three selected systems in each Empire, which systems shall not be in space above 0.3 security.
6. Remove all asteroid belts from space that is 0.5 and higher security.
I think with these few changes, EVE will be fixed again. |

I endorse these proposals.
Like I endorse all the proposals that I read on these forums. They just prove that 15 year olds who are very special, cause their mommy says so, are much, much, much betterer than the devs at designing a game.

If you want to fix EVE. Get rid of all these people who think it's broken.

Or it will create a wormhole that'll destroy everything in sight. and by that, I mean a wave of whine threads that'll cause so much server lag that CCP will shut down EVE and the website, causing every EVE player to die instantaneously.

Make EVE more solo friendly. It's boring to sit in a laggy fleet waiting for the enemy to log on.
Remove stacking nerf, make it as it were before red moon rising. The ebay/alliance machine has been fed enough. Caveo of Minmatar , torva vacuus regimen of deus es plurrimi periculosus of bestia

I actually agree with this. But I have no idea how you would make the single player aspect any fun. To put it simply, I've had a lot more fun doing a level 4 mission with a friend in a Raven than all by myself in a Cruiser. I love the action and the explosions! and I love just going at it with my friend.
Hell even just mining with one other person makes it SO much more fun.
Being alone in EVE is rather boring. (Like alot of MMOs, I guess.) EVE is actually the only game where I play with other people rather than go it alone.

Before the ******ed stacking nerf, you could sneak into places and make a few quick kills then get away. This wont work today because they increased hitpoints and nerfed damage. The devs said so themselves they wanted fights to last longer (what the hel were they thinking?) and now if you attack someone they will just tank you until their blob arrives. People will blob as hard as they have to in order to feel confident enough to win. This will be regardless of how many HPs ships have. Reducing ship HPs will only make things worse for solo players who get attacked.

what was I talking about again?

Obviously the OP intends to drive away 99% of the playerbase and then reintroduce Eve as it was before their giganerf went into effect. Then, when the playerbase gets too whiny months or years later, CCP will do the same nerf again, drive away the players again, and then return Eve to normal again.
It will be a neverending process of self-defeating desperation that will ultimately result in CCP's downfall, thus fulfilling the nefarious goal that the OP had actually been intending all along despite not having actually said it and remaining publicly steadfast in support of the process mentioned in my first paragraph.
And I personally will, at that time, depart whatever it was I was doing and "walk the Earth", as Jules talked about in the last scene of Pulp Fiction.
