Lex Arson Idiots In Spaceships Psychotic Tendencies. 7	Posted - 2012.03.23 02:39:00 - [1] - Quote Idiots in Spaceships is now recruiting (somewhat). We are members of the Psychotic Tendencies alliance currently living in Solitude, with operations largely in the Syndicate region. As the name suggests, we often do irresponsible things with expensive ships, and often fight out numbered and still come out on top. We're a close-knit group, and we care more about our members fitting in and having fun than we do about SP or assets. That being said, we do have standards, and certain things will be looked at for your application to be considered. But more on that later. To start off, we offer: -Regular PvP in 15-30 man gangs. We're always out and about looking for fights. Our most favored fleet comp is mostly navy or pirate faction armor BS, though no T1 armor BS will ever be turned down, unless it's a stupid neuting domi or geddon or something like that. -Experienced Logistics Pilots to keep those aforementioned shiny ships alive, since nobody likes losing faction-fit pirate BS. -We are largely US TZ based with a few Aussies and one or two Brits. That being said, the rest of the alliance is also largely USTZ, with the exception of Exanimo Inc, which is Euro, and again, some random Aussie's in a mixture of different corps. So while our strongest presence is undoubtedly US prime time, we have people online and out pew pew'ing at all times of the day. -We live in lowsec, with most large operations being in nearby Syndicate nullsec, and a highsec pocket is just next door. We are in a unique region of New Eden where all three security-class systems are within close range of each other. If you want to be a lowsec piraet(sic) and roam through Solitude and nearby Aridia, you can do so (as we often do when bored). If you like nullsec warfare without all the sov crap (think lowsec with bubbles and no sec hit/gate guns), this is also available. if you mine or mission on the side to earn isk, the high sec pocket is literally next door, with ice belts and plenty of lvl 4 agents. -We have outstanding pilots and FC's. Since moving to Solitude last fall, I can recall losing precisely 3 fights. So yeah, we know what we're doing. -In addition to 15-30 man gangs, we do plenty of solo and small gang roaming as well. So don't think we're all about blobbing the smaller alliances around here with 30 faction BS and three triage archons and calling it a gudfite. Small gangs of <10 with no logi go out all the time looking for stuff to pew. Now, for what we are looking for. We want YOU if you can fly an: -Armor battleship -Armor HAC -Armor T3 (web loki, proteus, or legion, or ECM armor tengu -Armor capital ship (Gallente (Moros) and Amarr (Archon) are HIGHLY preferred, but if all you can fly is a Nidhoggur, I guess that's okay too) -Triage Archon -Armor logistics (Guardian preferred, broneiros/lolneiros is cool too) -Shield nano (these roams go out sometimes) Bonus points: AF (any kind), T1 cruiser for lol roams, black ops What we are NOT looking for: -Caldari (unless it's ECM tengu, or the occasional loldrake fleets when nobody will fight our big guns) -Inactive people/People who don't get on comms/People who don't like to socialize. Like I said, we're a close-knit group, we want people who will come into channel and talk crap to us so we can return the favor, will chill on comms when playing other games, etc. -EFT Warriors/Stubborn mofo's. We don't care how much more DPS Hobgoblin II's do over Warrior II's, or how much your dual-rep Zealot/Legion/whatthefuckever can tank, or how much DPS a Phoenix does. There are reasons certain ships are always fit certain ways. Stop trying to be such a special and unique snowflake, especially if you're going to argue incessantly about it. -HEY GUIZ I JUTS BOUGHT AN CARRIER W/ SLAVE SET CAN I PVP WITH YOU GUIZ Whoa, slow the **** down there princess. That's cool and all if you have the skills/isk to buy a faction fit "x" ship with a HG slave set and all that, but if you have jack for experience flying "x" ship and not getting killed in it, then you're going to be asked not to fly that ship unless in a larger fleet with logistics that can save your ass. If you're a solo elite pvp master with a super pimp Proteus that's cool and all, but if you die every time you undock in a different faction fit ship you can bet your ass you're going to be asked to stick to flying Thoraxes. Some other thoughts: -We don't take ourselves too seriously. Plenty of things are done simply for the lolz. Alliance chat is filled daily with links to fukung, funnyjunk, and random pony memes. Our alliance logo is a goddamned tissue box (reflecting our alliance ticker). -We will laugh at your fits on your lossmails, and/or the manner in which you lost the ship. We do this because we love and care about you, and hope you will do the same for us. -We will never tell you that you have to train for x or you have to fly x ship with x fit. However, you will need to be able to fly an armor ship (probably a battleship), and if a fleet is called, you will be expected to show up with the right ship if you chose to attend. Don't be that one guy that brings a battlecruiser or shield ship on an armor battleship fleet. -Be social. Seriously, this is the best thing you can do to be liked/accepted/have fun in this corp and alliance. If you don't like talking to people and wanna sit in a channel by yourself all day every day, Idiots/TISHU is probably not for you. -A lot of us Idiots have been playing the game a very long time. If you're the newer sort, we can help you with what to train next or how to fit your ship. Again, so long as you can fly something basic and useful in a fleet or are willing to train for it very quickly, SP isn't that huge of an issue.
