So i'm buying Rock band for the 360(yes,i own a console), anyways i already played guitar hero 3 on expert, and i'l also be using the guitar hero guitar on rock band, but that's besides the point.
My friend says that there is no way in hell that i'l be able to play Welcome home on drums on expert to near perfection within 2 months of playing(how long it took me to master guitar hero), so what do you all think? can i do it?
I'll be getting the game and drums tommorrow, and will start practicing then and there.
BTW, if anyone has rock band, gutiar hero or call of duty and wants to play a match online, send me a game request, name is BlackEchoe. |

I do hope the drums are alot harder..... |

As far as I know, rock band was not ment to be particularly difficult, it was more the fact you could have a full band playing simultaneously that was its major sell point. TBH, this makes it a better game, for me at least, then guitar hero up to this point, merely because you can actually have a BAND and not just a guitarist (and occasionally 2 or a bassist) |

I would but timing prob sucks... I've noticed the guitar is easier than guitar heroes, at least on medium and easy, drums are easy enough if you've a sense of rythm. It might take you a while to get used to the guitars strum bar, it doesn't click and has more resistance to it i think. But if you've had any problems with your fingers from guitar hero, the rock band guitar doesn't stress them as much. |

In those 2 months you spent mastering guitar hero, you can have become reasonably decent at the basics of a real guitar, and tbh that is certainly gunna get you more girls. Don't get me wrong, I loved that damn game, but I had to force myself to stop playing it.
As for rock band, I'm dubious. I just think the time would be better spent forming a real band, and believe me, that's way more rewarding, and waaaaaaaaaaaaaaay more fun.

The most difficult thing about rock band was keeping the equipment from breaking every 3 seconds. The guitars are held together with spit and a prayer, the microphone as well... except they forgot the prayer, but it's okay because the microphone is pretty useless anyway. You can fart the songs into it and still rate a good performance. |
