I don't really know if this new shiva expansion is free or has a downloading charge,could someone help me out please?

Nope, this game devloper's name is CCP, not SOE. They won't be putting out paid expansions every 3-4 months.

Hehehe you sure are right, I also own Planetside and the core combat was a complete waste of $20

I agree 100% with Armin. If you don't want to answer a question again, as one person said they're getting tired of answering the same question, then don't answer it. Someone else will, I'm sure.

sorry, i was a bit vauge on that one, when its released and your in a game shop that has it in stock.
(no offical dates yet I belive.)

afaik, you won't be able to BUY it in any stores.
It will be available for download, and this will actually happen quite automatic when you launch your client, since you won't be able to play without it.
It will behave much similar to a patch, just bigger, and is actually classified a a expandsion.
And yes, it will be totally free (unless they actually DO ship out CD's to stores, I'd imagine they'd take the "old" cd's back, and replacing it with Shiva or something similar)
