If that's your typo fix it, if it's CCP's FIX IT CCP. lol - I just use the numbers that are in the DB - the Ion Blaster II has half the refire of the Neutron II, it's probably just a typo from CCP, as the weapons aren't available yet, they've not fully debugged them. We'll be getting the new tech II weapons with the next patch in 2 weeks, so I'll be updating these charts with the new numbers after that :-)

DPS doesn't have much to do with the "single shot" damage done by a weapon... A weapon that fires once every 10 seconds for 10 damage per shot has the same DPS as a weapon that fires once every second for 1 damage... The DPS of the weapons are the same, but the damage per shot dished out by the weapons is vastly different. The best way to get the number I think you're looking for is to multiply the "Damage Modifier" of your weapon times the amount of damage stated on the ammo you're using...

Pretty much - it's only really for comparing the different weapons in each class... It is also kinda there to show that the close-range weapons DO hit a lot harder than the Howitzers and railguns, the power of Howitzers being told as gospel to new players. From a pure DPS standpoint, close range weapons own - but you'll get chewed up in the process.
