OK, I bought a giant secure container, yesturday evening.. bestowered it out to an asteroid belt, deployed it (cant remember if i chose for myself or for corp -I get the feeling i chose "for myself")
so I was happily mining away with a Maller into that, then getting my bestower when full and earning myself some decent ISK.
so I get in my maller this morning, undock.. right click, and choose my can (saved its location to speed things up) and can i see it? hmm, no.. *looks around on the scanner...* not there either?! huh?!!
so like, its vanished somehow.. and I did set a nice password on it, so nobody shoulda been able to nick it right? -it was my first can of this type, and im not sure how they work. 0.9 system, so i couldnt "anchor" it.. im guessing that prevents it from being nicked?!
arrrghh, that can cost me half a mill.. (didnt check for cheapest prices, didnt care.. maller can earn the isk with mining.. got half a mill last night from mining, in fact.. so its paid for itself..)

After you deployed the can did you "anchor it" (requires a special skill called anchoring found under corp managment) If u failed to anchor it then its likly it has just drifted off into the never never .

Sry to say u've lost the can... cans go pop like jet cans after couple hours as you can't anchor them in a system with 0.8 sec or above (I think ) Was done a while back to stop large corps strip mining noob "safe" belts.

Ah the disinformation, you cannot anchor in 1.0-0.8, in 0.7 however you're free to make camp and put up a christmastree of these things if you like.
