from what i hear NC moms going down as we speak in Vale in the fight over sytems.
NC sieging TRI towers and BOB came around and dropped a few caps to visit them and remind them they arent gone |

Awesome you are at least jumping to tvn. I burned from x-7 passed broadsword taranis crow and Ishtar which failed to scramble my lone bs in tribute, then few jumps away i got scrammed by Ishtar and claw got rid of both of em (jamming drones ftw) and arrived 3 out of tvn and crashed. Entering game for 20 mins now.... |

Now this is interesting - a huge fight going on... an awesome set up ambush by bob (ceralio in local was bit obvious but NC didn't expect that much (or atleast didn't say anything to the grunts).
An attempt to activate the module is alrea.......... *static*
The actual interesting parts are the standings issues.. unfortunate for BOB, great move on the ambush, multiple caps down on both sides... lag makes it impossible to see how it goes.
I see more then 10 cap wrecks on bob's side.. same on NC.. |

If I am not mistaken, TRI spearheaded into this... the numbers against us from the start. If 3000 pilots cannot take on less than 1000, and need to call their buddies (which we and every other logical person in EVE knew they would, it was just when) then so be it. TRI doesn't hold standings with BoB, but if BoB wants to come down and thin out the NC cap fleet as part of their causing MAXimum damage, I dont see why anyone in TRI would complain. This just makes it where even though its now about 5:1, we can come out and play and not worry about NC hotdropping, and throwing around their capital weight so arrogantly.

Seems pretty one sided atm, but I had thought razor/mm/NC were relatively light on forum whoring. I had also thought Tri were classy enough to not descend upon a thread like a bunch of rabid hyenas and chest beat.
You won a capital fight and crushed some bad guys. Good work - congrats on the MS kill. Why chest beat? Stay classy gents, no reason to "hate" the NC - 95% of 0.0 blobs at this point.

Seems pretty one sided atm, but I had thought razor/mm/NC were relatively light on forum whoring. I had also thought Tri were classy enough to not descend upon a thread like a bunch of rabid hyenas and chest beat.
You won a capital fight and crushed some bad guys. Good work - congrats on the MS kill. Why chest beat? Stay classy gents, no reason to "hate" the NC - 95% of 0.0 blobs at this point.
I think TRI are perfectly entitled to smack given the circumstances.
The NC were looking for an easy victory by uberblobbing TRI. They paid the price. Good.

What is at issue is that Tri used to (and I believe still does) consider themselves a step above your average alliance and are class gents. Why smack now? They won the fight and are kicking ass in the war. Why be snots about it?

We started with about 46 capitals and almost called it off when we counted the NC capitals at 58 and 60? or so support (bs and below) in system and our support still quite a few jumps out.
But an opportunity presented itself when the NC capitals got split up thanks to TRI dictors. Then we jumped in our capitals on them and took out 3 motherships first.
During the fight, our capital count grew to about 70-80 capitals at peak and the NC capital count to about 75-80. The actual peak numbers on both sides during the fight was probably lower. NC peak capital numbers are from their TS channel and ours are from what jumped back + what got killed.
Was worried that the NC could get reinforcements faster than us because our capitals were 2-3 jumps out and had to be refueled. Was also a long trip for battleships and smaller ships. |

Well, the truth is, that the Guristas and Serpentis hired them, as these rats were suffering crippling losses the likes of which not seen ever since the olymic ISK farmer team put in a marathon effort.
I am sure they will learn a lot from the brave example of alliances within the NC by copying their constant usage of capitals when defending systems in Dek.

You must be new at politics. Triumvirate has been flipping sides in the north since they declared it their home, based on what suits them. In political terms they're opportunistic, untrustworthy bastards who are probably the worst choice in EVE when it comes to picking allies.
In practical terms, that makes them the least dependent group up there. Corporations squatting in a two year nap bloc that doesn't let them fart without permission shouldn't be throwing nades in glass houses.
Northerners are unhappy because Triumvirate is not only ignoring BoB's steamroll, but entrenching themselves into their space. Assuming the NC doesn't cease to exist by the time BoB stops picking on the north, they get to deal with another long and hilariously pointless territory war. Joy!

Does anyone else find it odd that MM haven't posted a single Carrier, Dread, or Mothership loss mail yet, even though they've managed to post several kill mails?

You do know they shot at us after the caps were cleared...had we had our caps on the field, they may have been "accidentally" engaged.
We share a common enemy who is willing to engage us with caps, because they believe us too small to deal with their numbers...and they are right, so we offered them an opportunity to engage NC forces...the NC are lucky we didnt have more time to prepare or it would have been much worse for a number of reasons.
For the record, NC still had more people in system that the good guys had...
Since you love fair play so, why dogpile on us this weekend?

If it was a flat dread on dread fight, Farham, we would have done things differently - but as it was there was some high value targets on field that we were willing to sacrifice some ships for.

Chewing through 3 85% resistance remote repped MS first instead of taking out dreads kinda makes a difference ;)
Would BoB have primaried the dreads their losses would prolly have been a whole lot less.
But then the MS could also have gotten away.
They can afford the dread losses, NC can't afford the moral losses that supercaps give.

I would tend to agree with that assessment but I examined the killboards and noted the first MS took 1.4 million damage and the second just over 1 mil. Those things went down faster than an ugly girl trying to earn a prom date. So repping didn't appear to be in the picture.
If I had to hazard a guess, they didn't get half their mods even working let alone have anyone rep them, which is to be expected in such situations.

Its very simple. Bob had a scout in Tvn for two days. They watched Nc hotdrop caps with very little protecting for two days. This was going to happen either today, or this weekend. I have no doubt that it would of happened the same if any other Alliance was in our shoes. As members of bob have said. The factor in the hot drop was 3 motherships sitting in a dread fleet for some odd reason. So maybe blame your self for the hotdrop ?

Think people (d00m at least) are celebrating cause 3 moms + other miscellaneous caps were killed if not strictly by us, but with our help. After seeing the combined 100-120 caps the other night between the various NC alliances and not being able to even scratch them (only 2 died) it made for a nice change of pace. Most people in tri go crazy over cap kills tbh.

How can I not be happy?
1. NC, who we are fighting loses 3 moms and a dozen or so dreads. Regardless of whether it would have been in TVN or VFK, that would make me smile at this point in time.
2. Instead of getting blobbed to hell another evening, I managed to get some fights and actually do something remotely useful.
3. BoB lost 14 dreads, hahahaha!
4. I got to ***** on some capital killmails, not on any Mommy kills though.
5. With BoB hotdropping NC, a chance exists that NC becomes more careful with caps, giving us more chance of fun fights later.
I don't give a shit whether we win or lose this. But if we lose it, I still prefer to get some nice fights rather than 5-1 blobs against us, with even just the enemy capitals outnumbering our fleet.

MM has various spies on boards, TS and in fleets and connections with devs.
And they are asking former members like me on a regular basis to start spying for them.
Just because you spew all your crap in fleet or alliance chat doesn't make you one damn bit better then the ones that do it in local.
Not to mention the whole army of alts on the boards that post crap while keeping your socalled "good image" up.

Would BoB have primaried the dreads their losses would prolly have been a whole lot less.
But then the MS could also have gotten away.
They can afford the dread losses, NC can't afford the moral losses that supercaps give.
This is just a guess but I think they would need to lose 20 or more moms in a relatively short period of time before they would need to look at cutting back the deployment of them in offensive maneuvers.
If they don't lose more supercaps in the next month they should easily replace the losses, given the number of active industrialists I know within the NC, probably tons more I don't know about.
That is the one big advantage of the NC, they don't really frown on the militant industrialists, a lot of other alliances underrate their value.
Moms and Titan losses aren't really the setback they used to be.

Will the losses be corected as it would seem that capital KILLS are showing perfectly fine on the KB?

If the capital losses do not show on the MM KB, does it mean the whole incident did not happen at all?

Problem is we can copy raw killmails from the PURE list, but BoB list doesn't allow viewing raw mails of our losses. When the relevant players next log on (our board was dead for 3-4 hours after the battle so most went to bed before posting) and/or api stuff stops bugging, losses will be in too.
Edit: We're missing just 1 loss (besides ones that BoB has no mails for either), post Baron Tenebrius's rev lossmail here quickly and I'll add it.

Look how dumb you are. Noone is saying we are not taking advantage of BoB's presence in the area. We are.
But if this had been planned out before, we would have been told to set BoB blue. It is by far the most common thing to do.
In fact, I had to instruct Exceed pilots not to shoot the orange guys, but just red and neutral. Because GBC is set to negative on a corp level by Exceed. And after the NC was routed, there were Tri getting shot by GBC and probably vice versa.
Maybe a few people realized what was going on earlier, and we did see 1 and later 2 BoB in local. But that could also have been spying to see when it would be a good time to hit VFK, as much as spying in preparation for a potential hotdrop.
And finally, if you had checked out my posting history, you would realize that BoB and me don't play well together. We tend to flame each other rather frequently.

i wasnt aware that alliance standings were set based on relations between one person and the alliance in question. I'm sorry for ever calling it into question. I wont do it again...

As a impartial viewer, minus the foolish choice to bring MSs to what they had to know was going to be a lag fest, it appeared pretty even. Or am I missing something from the BOB killboards?
Was pretty even looking at non-super caps which should serve a solid lesson for the North, BOB can be hurt just don't bring Moms.
It was a close fight overall, the moms made the difference. When we went in and I saw the number of caps I knew it was gonna be a real scrap. The NC managed to pull out ALOT of thier caps. Had they stayed
If anything this certainly reminds them we are in range to touch them..
