It was bound to happen that VFK would fall. BoB can just sit on their asses and wait until they have superior numbers and take out the jammer. MM and Pure are off saving Hydra so perfect timing for them to come, which they did.

This just in:
GBC lost some battleships, and are therefore still losing. Also, VFK is no longer the place NC want to keep. That place is now somewhere else; location to be divulged in a later press release.

Confirmed. L2E lost his titan, sad day for a lot of the people in Northern Coalition. Lord in his Teddy was a beacon for many fleets and his willingness to come online to help and risk his personal asset was an example to all of us. He bought the ship to fly it in combat which he did and it was eventually lost in combat.
Many things could be cited for this loss. The massive de-sync issue which is constantly prevalent in EvE '08, I'm sure BoB will cite the increasing pace of their advance and some of you might even take swipes at the pilot himself.
I'll leave you with this: Lord 2Evil is a man a lot of us know through reputation or personally, he knew the risk of flying his ship in combat (which he has done pretty much every day since joining IRON) and even though today has ended in tragedy, many other days ended in triumph through his efforts. I suggest that GBC membership remember all of the DD's which sent them into pods before more grief and childish quips are sent out on these forums.
Thank you and GF.

If that was annoying, how would you feel if you were there, tried to lock the Titan for 4-5 minutes and then heard that it popped?
Thanks a lot CCP!

Over the next 45 minutes the BoB fleet warped in and out of the cyno jammer location putting damage on it. A titan logged in @ pos and subsequently DD's causing what appeared to be only friendly damage. After this event the jammer was taken down. Lord2Evil logged in his avatar and was quickly swamped by BoB hictors. The NC force did not have the numbers to save the titan and it eventually went down at the time listed above.
Where do you get your information? This isn't even close to accurate..

He did use it that is for sure. o7 to him on that. And desync had nothing to do with it, dont make it cheap. He flew it in combat and eventually ended up losing it.

Not being able to control your ship because the game is non-responsive has a little to do with it. If you don't understand the desync issues that are ongoing in VFK/I30 I doubt you've spent any time there..

And yet BoB, hate to give them credit, didnt lose one titan post Shrike avatar despite doing the same thing NC are doing and experiencing the same lag and node crashes. Hmmmm....

I wasnt stuck waiting for warp to activate for 5 minutes and then to load grid while listening to them call out his armor/struct status. And then the grid finally loads 5 seconds after he explodes. No time at all. I have no kills on the killboards either, so obviously I havent spent anytime here....
