Seems a fair list of the rogues gallery but you have to mention Falzone in their somewhere surely.
It might have only been "2 minutes" in the spotlight, but he did dance for all he was worth in it.

Really to damn many people to list, but maybe i just play/read to much.
Jexter and Fist - for being top quality people who can take on 4-10 times there number come away with 2-3 BS kills and still making it out with a nod and a wink. Yet to actually talk to either to much, other then to say hi while trying to blow them into tiny bits. If you dont know them head up to pureblind, they love to throw parties for geusts, but watch out for there "love hug", Jex likes to get a bit fresh with there geusts

The most well known pirate is Tank CEO, the richest known is Tornsoul, the most helpful is Libertina (and Sharon Apple was too) and the most well known is... I don't think there is anyone even close to be known to the majority of eve players, except maybe Vogon the ore thief. On the forums the most known is JC, but many players don't read the forums.

The list of players i would think would be most skilled players in
pvping which relate to there awarness of aggression at people around them and how they can be very effective against the odds. Aswell as my 2isk on what i think personally.
1. Tank CEO
I would say Tank CEO as most feared Raven pvper in both offensive and defensive sides. Altho alot people of course disagree only because of jealousy regardless what he does.
2. Algazara
Another hardcore and deadly pvper if u dont pay attention on this target, because as she states, "I would suck the life out of you". I would say old school pvper and most effective blackbird pilot against battleships in EVE history.
3. XpoHoc
Old teammate i use to play with alot, very smart player. I would think XpoHoc more on his defenses which makes a hard target to hurt, not a target to turn your eyes from.
4. Lord Zap
People will obviously totally disagree with this rank, well i think he is just over-rated on popularity and at the same time a good pvper with corpmates around around which i he is effect with at most. Again i would rank him 4th only because he is old school, but also believe he is now a sold account.
5. TWD
I would say a hard target to hurt, very smart on his fits and can use them very effectively for all round situations. I would somewhat relate him to XpHoc.
6. Pychopath
I would say he was most effective tempest pilot in EVE. Having insane damage output on his 1400's that time, he was also capable of having high rating wrecks per volly which totally ripped nearly 40% shields. Someone you can count on having on your side
and die protecting and fighting for.
7. Stavros
I would say a good pvper and at the same time a big troll which i loved his posts. good teamwork pilot and would rank most of it on his "big" speeches on politics.
8. Negotiator
Altho he hates me for no reason which yet needs to be explained why? Negotiator is an excellent teamwork player to have aswell on your side, good fleet awarness around him.
9. Homo Erectus
Good pvper in fleet battles but i would say a big "talker" in locals, cant keep his mouth shut in locals debating with noobs and carebears but loved his speeches aswell.
10. Archangel Sean
Hmmm hes not known for anything i dont think from my point of view, howeverwould rank him a 10 only because he was only pilot that managed to destroy one of my scorps, unexpected ship tactic he had that time but which was my mistake he managed to kill me, but no excusses, i was killed and thats what counts.

This list is with players who i have had pvp fights against or with =) and just my few cents on very skilled pvpers.
1. Tank Ceo - He is very resourceful pvper and i remembr his old scorp that was unmatched.
2. Cre mavrel - he has been my wing pilot for a long time and its my personal opionion that he is one of the best pvpers out there.
3. Tindriel - maybe not very well known but still if u meet him 1v1 you better know what your doing or youll end up in your pod.
4. Cao cao - Cao has alot of experience and is an hardcore old school pvper and his leadership skills are unmatched in larger battles.
5. Dirty looks - This guy has alot of experience with Missile boats such as the raven =). He was the first one who actualy caused me some troubles back in the day in OBE =)

1. All of PLD ... not just cause they are my corp(Algazara,Darthsideous ,Cre Mavrel , Hellrazer, Thor Adam , Tindriel ,Kydor... shoutouts to all )
2. Cao Cao . Innovative Strategist . He sure knows how to lay traps in fleet combat . Sly Fellow.
3. Tank CEO . (Fought him with my old character. Only person whose shields I couldnt knock down . We fought in Obe serveral times when I flew Thorax and camped it and He would come fight me in his Moa at p3n gate )
4. Slightly Mad ... He knows who I was backin the day .. I know that the alliance hes in doesnt have the best of fleets... but this guy is a original thinker and tons of fun to talk to :) (Slightly you know who I was )

Great PVPer in 1v1 and 1v2 situations. I would say over 90% of his kills came outside of fleet battles. The big talker can back it up. |

This is just my opinion and I CBA to write everyone down so here Goes...
Lord Zap[m0o]: Probably the most Infamous Pirate in the game (For some reason people think it aint the original Zap, I assure you it is)
Stavros[m0o] Everyone seems to love/hate stavros for his attitude on the boards and local, very flamboyant player (very competent pvp'er fleet leader too)
The Reverend[m0o] For some reason No one mentioned him yet Rev is the current CEO of m0o corp and is one of the oldest standing members, Also the guy who stood his ground agains the Concord attack on m0o in Mara(Which of course got his ass nuked)
Tank CEO: Everyone knows/loves/hates this guy, very feared player, very competent pvp'er
TWD: Twd is very underestimated, Extremely skilled fighter and has no fear in battle.
Algazara: Ive had no direct dealings with her but from what I hear, a very competent pvp'er also she took over as Number 1 on the bounty list for quite some time(till people with stupid fake bounties and quite appeared)
Viceroy: One of the funniest guys in the game, also has a long history as a pirate, and of course as teh SPVD Legal rep lol
Jade Constantine: Possibly the most controversial player in the game due to flamboyant and often lengthy forum posts(Actually thats a lie ALOT LENGTHY POSTS) also as much as people hate to admit it, also a good frigate pilot too
Miso: Started the corp with the coolest name imo (Sharks with frickin laser beams) also very active on teh forums, mostly made sensible no bull**** posts.
Molle/Shrike: Extremly experienced and well known player The leader of the Much Feared EVOL Also tends to die alot
Homo Erectus: Recently moved from EVOL to XAN (Have no idea why) Very Respected pvp'er in the field, was also very active on the forum for some time.
Deathwing: For prolly doing the only bit of true RP in the game so far (He attempted to Assasinate the new Emperor) However this was frowned upon and I beleive he got in some trouble over it(Lame imo)
And of course Jadrut: The latest CELES Spokesman. however he dont make enough sense to be official spokesman
There are many more however I'm afraid my post will look like one of Jades if I carry on

- When I started EVE I was told who Tank CEO was. Like "Don't go afk-mining or Tank CEO will kill ya!"
- Later I noticed "Vote Stavros as new Emperor" in the sigs on the forums.
- You couldn't miss Skillz on the forums in the days.
- The vids made by/featuring Drunkenmaster made him a name fer sure.
I've never met theese guys. The only guy mentioned in this thread that I have had an encounter with is TWD that blew up my indy once. Not much active on the forums, but rather more on irc.
The rest is either got a reputation like Tank CEO and Lord Zap, or their activity on the forums makes them a name. Like Jade Constatine, Sara Kerrigan, Jim Raynor, J0sephine, Joshua Calvert, Miso, Homo Erectus etc etc etc etc. And everyone knows who P ussyCat is...
The best way to test this is the portrait-test that was published some months ago. I was scared that I could name at least 75% of the avatars.

anyway - my list (in no particular order):
Lord Zap, The Rev, Ywev, j0rt - all together cause that's how I met them. My tristan went squish a few times.
Josh Calvert, Miso(retired), Lianhaun - the masters of forum hijacking
Jade Constantine and Tank CEO - the two people that most people on this forum either love or hate, there seems to be no emotional response in between those.
Viceroy and Drukenmaster - the 2 of them almost made me want to join SPVD
Skillz - I wanted to pod him even tho I had never met him
TornSoul - one of the greatest peeps in this game, even if a little too overworked sometimes to see things clearly sometimes.
Darth Solo - eve's most famous bountyhunter

Im ganna have to say Toastmaster is NOT infamous. hes actaully quite HORRIBLE. he was in a group of 3bb's and 1 caracal that my corp took out w/ 3 kestrels. maybe he was AFK, or maybe hes a noob. im leaning more towards the later.

i moved up to PB about 6 months ago my first few days in the area i spoted viceroy and drunkenmaster i thought then the same thing i think now oh celebs tbh i havent seen drunk in some time
i think all the old school pre concord spanking m0o are probobly the most infamous
most deadly pirates i have fought and ive fought alot of them are jexter and fist( if i ever hit the joven mother load i think ill sponser a world tour so the rest of eve can meet them for a dance)
both jade and skills have to be in the top ten of most well known posters on eve-o
