Looking at a tv guide it looks like your right , however in the BBC's defence they are better than any other significant medal winners broadcasters I've seen to date.
The US in particular is terrible, if there is no US interest in an event it doesn't seem to be broadcast, although the strenght of the US athletes tends to mitigate this to some extent of course. I imagine places like Icelands coverage is very good as they have fewer events they cover due to nationals taking part and can show the interesting and competitive sports.

I'm pretty sure it'll be on the BBC's Red Button digital service, and quite probably on the iPlayer too.

Yeah it's on the red button, but I don't think it's on the freeview choices, and I am fairly sure my folks and gonna take kindly to me popping over at 7ish to watch the tele!

As a former player the greatest entertainment of this olympics has been watching tiny iceland take out giant after giant with fast paced entertaining handball. So grats on the silver, even if you were a pale shadow of yourselves in the final. And well, the french keeper was just... nuts.

In all fairness I think Iceland were brilliant until the final throw...and the french keeper was outstanding...saved over 50% off saves which is incredible....shame they lost :(
