* Some people will mock you for being new, ignore them.
* Stay out of CAOD. At least until you've trained skin hardeners up to at least 3.
* Newbie questions go in the newbie questions forum.

greifing is allowed , scamming is also allowed,
suicide ganking is allowed
you can be shot anywhere in space as well as undocking is agreeing to non consenual PVP
you have a higher survival rate if you stay above 0.5 security areas
try PVP you might like it ( dont be another one of these carebear that just play eve the single player game )
find a player corperation that will help you out at a early stage
and most of all enjoy yourself
no go plunder from the poor and help the rich robin hood

Welcome aboard. If you can handle the first couple of weeks of flaming and ganking you'll be alright 
And as somebody else pointed out , newb questions go into the newb forum. Not that we mind answering (some of the worst Eve-O trolls post very helpfull stuff with their alts) but YOU will avoid the worst flames if you post there
And please, for the love of all that is holy, don't intepret the fairly nice answers you have gotten as some kind of forum standtard. You will get eventually flamed to kingdom come, just seems like all the worst trolls have gotten laid recently or something since the forums are slightly less toxic than normal...
