What is 10th ?
Tenth Legion is a community of like-minded individuals and corporations that enjoy each others company while playing EVE-Online.
The Legion as a whole tries to uphold four basic principles: Honour, Friendship, Co-operation and Fun.
The main objective of 10th is to carve out a home in sovereign 0.0 space without being someone's pet or slave, and have the ability to keep it from being taken away again.
Where does 10th come from ?
The alliance was born on November 15th, 2007 in the system of Aeter in the Solitude region.
Prior to the creation the founding corporations already had cooperative relationship consisting of mixed chatchannels, merged teamspeaks, shared intel, joint gangs & operations and identical charters and policies for several months.
The cooperation was very successfull and mutually beneficial to all parties involved, creating the Legion was only the next logical step.
Every founding corporation had it's own personal history, some dating back years and years and have been all over the galaxy. Together all that history and experience is now bundled up into a very close-knit group of players with strong internal bonds and many individual friendships.
What exactly does 10th Legion do ?
Someone giving you an entire region for free, outposts, moons and everything, just because they like you with no strings attached, happens only once in a lifetime to a select lucky few.
We had our chance but way to soon, took it anyway, gambled and lost, betting on the wrong horse.
Our numerous adventures in Syndicate and Cloud Ring have taught us that we need to be hard as rocks, strong as steel and sharp as knives if we ever want to cherish the hope of reaching the objective that the Legion was created for.
Therefore the main directive of the alliance , at this time of writing , is geared towards improvements in Player vs Player combat and everything that goes with it.
Ofcourse there is time and place for other more industrial activities, as long as it used to replace or improve the ships we fight with.
Where can you find us ?
We seem to move around a lot, not growing roots to deep just yet. Sometimes by choice, sometimes not.
Currently we reside Molden Heath lowsec, on the borders of Etherium Reach and Great Wildlands.
But in a few weeks we might just as well be in a completly different part of the galaxy again. You never know in advance when the right oppertunity swings by.
What are we looking for ?
Mainly, corporations that believe that PvP is the reason for EVE, and carebearing is the tool to back it up.
But the less 'yarr' the better, as mentioned in the first bit, we try to uphold some level of standard and good-guy image. Although we fight in 0.0 and lowsec daily, we have next to no pilots with skulls or flashing red.
Your numbers on paper mean very little to us, as do your skillpoints. Everyone has a personality, everyone can get the experience, ships and toys.
We are far more interested in the 'spirit' of the corp and the go-get-them attitude of the players behind the characters.

we've got daily gangs roaming into pewpewland, with players ranging from t1 frigs up to t2 command ships. and we laugh at deathtrooper for always coming home in a pod :)
If you kill it, it will respawn... Eventually. |

I'm somewhat interested. We've needed to move to 0.0 for a while, but just have never had a reasonable group to join.
I am just concerned about the focus on PVP. We don't exactly have the most experience in that regard.
