1)Looks like the (Unsure of the spelling) Gohuld pyramid ships From SG-1 Show.
2) Structure: 1550 hp Armor: 1425 hp Sheild: 2500 hp Cargo capasity: 6500 Mass: 50,000,000 kg Max Velocity: 80 m/sec Capasitor: 1500 Capasitor Recharge time: 400 secs Max Targeting Range: 45 km Max Locks: 6 Sensor strenght: 6 Signature Radius: 325 CPU: 5000 Powergrid: 250 Launcher Hard points: 0 Turrent Hard points: 8 High Slots: 3 Med Slots: 1 Low Slots: 2 Ship Skill Bounis : +1 high,med,low per level +5%, Mining Yeld per level, +5%Mining speed per level. 3)Gallente Race use. 4)Gallente Industrial level 5,Gallente Friget level 4,Gallente Cruiser level 2 Required Skill: Gallente Industrial Mining Ship (Rank 6 Training skill).

whats the use of 8 turret hps if you only have 3 hi slots? --- 'Sweeden Steel Bite hard'

Ship should have 8 Hi slots and turrets. 3 Med slots (1 XL Booster, 2 Hardener) 8 Low slots 1000 cargo (use expander to get more - thats why 8 low slots) 3000 Drone space Ship skill boni should be +1 Drone per Level
Mining-ship-skill sounds great. Question is if this would be a MEM/INT or a PER/WILL skill. Skill should need astrogeology 4 and industrial ship 5. So its balanced that MEM/INT and PER/WILL people have to train a long time for it. To add ueber-mining speed per level is no good idea. Maybe 2% Mining yield could be done.

Yes that sounds nice - but a bit unrealistic as far as getting released.
I would be more for:
Frigate class shield/hp/ac/cap
Powergrid 10 CPU 500 Turrets 8 Hi slots 8 Cargo 1000 Drones 500
1-3 med slot. 1-3 low slots
60% mining laser cap need reduction 10% mining laser CPU and power grid need per level
This gives you a ship perfect for mining - but practically useless for every thing else - exactly what a mining ship should be.

I dont like the idea of skills affecting the architecture of the ship. let it have 8 turrets from scratch. Let the skill provide extra max locked targets.
This ship should not suffer from the astroids gravitation field.
it should also be easily destroyable. slow to warp but quick at sub-warp speeds.. 1000+ shields and armor is too much.
5000 cargo is too much, 850 is fair, it shouldn't be a hauler too.
I worry though about these super miners. It should not be able to mine any more than a current battleship. Only it should be cheaper. and have a few special frils. So its more expendable than a BS, but thats about it. ____ If your not dyin' your not tryin'. |

this would be a problum because 5000+ people all with their own idea of mining ships would just get in the way. but perhaps a mining ship with huge cargo like 100 k m3 and 8 high slots for miner 2's lil bit of a drone bay for a few orges and weak armor weak shields weak hulls so people wouldn't use it as a attack boat just all out mining
