So, I'm running through the belts in my local area...just looking for trouble. Hey, there's a hulk and..a procuror? Who the hell flies a procuror... That almost offends the miner in me. They're both in the same corp. No backup in evidence... Let's just help myself.
They're 20km away...so I set myself up on an intercept course to that can... A whole 180 m/s at best speed..this is going to take a while.
Half way there, the hulk warps off...oh well...
Checking the scanner, seeing what sort of 'protection' the guy is going to undock in...I continue to get close to the can.. Making a doulbe check to make sure I'm in the right ship... Shield Extenders.. Check...Shield Power Relays..Check.. Tackle Gear..check...gun..check... 5km to go...that hulk hasn't docked...
I flip the poor guy's can...with all the extra shield gear, I don't exactly have a huge cargo hold (who ever thought shield power relays were so damn big)
WTF?! The hulk shows up. And its got a warp scrambler!?!?! And...oh, crappy T1 light drones...
So I light him up...firing, spitting hate..well, at least he's got a decent tank on.
Victim> I guess we're at a standstill...
Me> Well, until I get a buddy here with a bigger ship.
Me> 80 mil and I don't blow you up.
(I'm feeling charitable) So the guy starts to beg and plead in local. I'm waiting for his backup to arrive. Corp aggro counting down ever so slowly. He's trying to get me to take 50 mil. 3 minutes of corp aggro left..he's up to 60 mil.
His corp aggro is done...I'm just waiting for a buddy to show up in a myrmidon in order to add some weight to my ransom demand.
Then, a megathron shows up...big, bad, sharp teeth...looks like blasters...
Me> Your corpmate can't help you...you waited *way* too long to call him in.
At which point the guy locks me up and lets loose... Smoke billowing out of the cargohold as the mostly jury-rigged shield systems take the brunt.... Dropping fast...80%....60%....where the hell are the cops...50%.....CONCORDOKKEN! One megathron down. Scoop the loot real fast.
Back to my buddy in the hulk....
Me> My friend is like one jump out..80 mil please.
So the guy pays me 8 mil....Right...price is now up to 88 mil.
Victim> sorry im nervous
So he pays me 88..on top of the 8... And I let him go... Fun!
A little while later:
Megathron Pilot> Are you selling me my stuff back?
Get another 5 for the remains of the megathron...not much but its a living.
EDIT: Er...put it up too early.
