I know that a lot of people hate clicking on a forum topic with 20 pages that was started 2 weeks ago, and filtering out all the non-relevant crap just to get to the status updates. Especially when the post's topic may or may not be indicative of what is going on at the 20th page.
So, here's a new (smack free) top post to discuss current events.

Not a whole lot. The NC (again) put a bunch of our POS's in TVN in reinforced mode. Sunday, there were about 70 Tri in TVN, with local at 400, peaking to over 450, for several hours. They also anchored some POS's in TVN of their own. Well, Pure did, Hydra has given up.
At some point, Tri was attempting to fight (even in 5 minute lag, and even against those numbers). We were locating their fleets and doing drivebys*. In between, we would warp back to our POS. MM Cyno'd a titan in 100km off the POS, he put in the password to the POS, hit the DD, and killed our entire 60 man sniper BS / support gang.

To note they reinforced 4 of our pos and anchored more of their own.
They didn't fancy chewing on some hardened pos in TVN and made no attempt to reinforce pos elsewhere.
Hydra have put up more pos in P3EN but it has no effect on us bar keeping some aussie tz peeps busy shooting them again.

Looks like the tactical geniuses of the NC are about to be faced with another "tough" call, after losing 3 MOM's, dreads, carriers, POS's and support ships to save Hydra...The Max campaign is about to descend upon its next target...timeframe 3-4 days. MM will most certainly not be able to fight in Vale with any sizeable force very shortly...PURE will have to choose between trying to save Hydra space, or aiding one of its closest allies as Max begins its next major offensive.
We could be left with Hydra and KIA vs Tri by weeks end...will we see Eddz call an end to "their weekend of fun" and return to germinate once the NC blob goes to defend its space proper?
I assume the NC forces believe they can remove Tri before Max begins its next set of attacks...they are literally wrong...but I guess the MOMs, Dreads, Carriers and POS's lost to defend Hydra make more sense than trying to stop the unstoppable.

 Much fun to be had. I logged off 3 days ago in c-f with us attacking towers there. 3 days later i come back after some RL time and see us defending TVN again. TRI's useless alliance with useless posters tbh

ALL losses are pulled by the API so I don't know where you get this from.

You got anything to base that on?..
FYI all the corps in Tri have given ME (the KB admin for the Tri board) their API info - and every hour the board pulls those kills/losses made - plus it does a full (FULL!!) sync from all the boards added to the list.
Thats RZR, KIA, DAI, MM, PURE, HYDRA, IRON and others where it fetches all mails - even ones not related to Tri..
So, i THINK the Tri board is covered in regards to complete battle overviews thank you very much - anything else you want to cry about?

By looking at Tri's Killboard, the battles are starting to heat up...MM down 2 carriers and 40+ Support and BS's....TRI losing 0 (zero-nothing)

Small battlereport from WH-JCA:
I wasnt there for the start so forgive any inaccuracy.
It starts by someone screaming in WH local, "I need help in belt 5-2"
and some how a carrier is spotted rattng in a belt with fighers... Tri FC orders nanos and support in tvn to burn the **** over and get a tackle and see whats going on. its only 4 jumps and reports come back and the bs are also told to load short range and travel to WH-
I think tri looses an well fit hyena trying to tackle the carrier surrounded by a couple of hostile minmatar recons. but carrier gets bubbled and tri forces juming in to system start working on it. Meanwhile there are reports of a couple of archons on scan and after a few minutes, an avatar. we get eyes on the titan at a pos and stay wary and aligned while pounding the carrier. MM warps in support to aid the carrier but they get primaried and quickly taken care of for a couple of friendly losses.
The titan is then reported stuck on pos modules unable to do much. Allow me to finetune the report above.
A small group of Burn Eden members were harrassing the WH- system for a while when they found the ratting raven. Raven was aggressed and started calling for help. A carrier warped in to assist and did 2 rapiers. Evil Pookie took his hyena in to tackle the carrier in which he succeded. His hyena did die to the rapiers, nevertheless we got a bubble on the carrier and more hacs, recons and Bs's came from TVN to WH- to assist in the KM whoring. And the rest is as has been told.
Was a good fight and, no lag at all, just as fights are supposed to be.
Props to the carrier pilots and the support fleet for bringing it. At least that was more fun than looking at the 400 in TVN - local and waiting 10 mins to align for where you want to go to.

All in all a pretty good night for Tri although I'm now on my third coffee at work having finally given up at about 5am this morning. We managed to defend all of the pos we had coming out of reinforced and now have them back up and running.
Was not on from the start but looked like we had stalemate for a long time with near equal numbers. BOB popped by to say hello and engaged the hostile fleet once it was eventually lured out of their pos. We followed this up with a DD although missed quite a few of their fleet due to module lag not letting us get our bubbles down. Not long after the DD I think KIA decided to call it quits and go home - shame to see those guys go but glad you could come.
Tri managed to keep a huge gang for us going for the whole night and ****d a couple of gangs trying to come into system with snipe BS and nano support as our first two pos came out of reinforced. After we got those up and running I went to bed.
As to the Tri killboard it all went **** up last night and karb has been doing an epic job of refreshing the DB so would be worth waiting for when he finishes that before going for a finally tally of losses on both sides.
All in all tunred out to be a great fun night, if a little slow to begin with |

although i just opend my 3rd redbull
stayed up long but them pos's came out in the middle of the night - early moring for me, however i did see TVN local rise to 447, saw it drop again after the DD went off, Kia returned home and the Bobits went away.
some smaller skirmirshes in between but as usaual lag made it terrible to actually play.
I wish i could see 10 mins in the future, would give me enough time to do what is needed with the lag

*as for last night,was epic tbh we had as many ppl show up to our 03:00 eve time op as we had eu primetime,engaged nc gang trying to get in2 system sadly many of them got out as we didnt have many dictors,half their gang died the other half sat in the tower shields the rest of the night while we repd them,been some good fights last couple of days and we are happy we finally getting what we came for!

I know the NC has been "surprised" Tri is still in Vale, didn't they tell Hydra that when the blob came Tri would get bored and leave?? Isn't that what the troops were told??? Tri can't handle blob warfare and dont have the stomach to stick it out...wonder if that is the second giant NC tactical failure...not counting putting 3 moms in the midst of a POS op..

IÆm thinking TRI's not going anywhere, with their recent victories and all of their towers back up and operational in TVN. NC canÆt seem to keep the numbers consistently. Maybe a morale issue? The weekend is nearing, lets see what they got left.

we did FW during our quiet summer time... was fun for a time, and I mean it was REALLY fun, but its lost the sparkle so we pulled out a few weeks ago and are relocating to our favourite roaming area ;)
But as a corp we won't be back to full activity levels until October, when we have some fun plans which are sure to fail

Yeah and it's sick what some of those Titans are being used for Yes it is, hands down, one of the best logistic measures put in the game. That I've seen some (and I'd hate to say majority, but <sigh> I think it is) used as nothing more than personal wallet-stuffers and all that implies...
My own opinion about the whole fight has changed quite a bit. It could be said this entire war in the North is a much-needed and long overdue cancer removal. I just hope that the North doesn't enter remission and have the same cancer make a recurrence...

Firstly titans never really had a clear role in this game when first announced merely lots of speculation as to them being a mobile station, then that changed when Oveur said it would have a doomsday weapon (hint guess what its used for).
As for TRI blobbing anyone in TVN and especially with titans just lol, good troll post.

Tri aren't the only ones trying to kill stuff with doomsdays in TVN...
Yesterday MM used one or two DD's in TVN, not to mention a dual doomsday followed by a third doomsday in WH-. MM have also DD'd through our pos shields before, so they are barely innocent of DD-related stuff.

Not a whole lot. The NC (again) put a bunch of our POS's in TVN in reinforced mode. Sunday, there were about 70 Tri in TVN, with local at 400, peaking to over 450, for several hours. They also anchored some POS's in TVN of their own. Well, Pure did, Hydra has given up.
At some point, Tri was attempting to fight (even in 5 minute lag, and even against those numbers). We were locating their fleets and doing drivebys*. In between, we would warp back to our POS. MM Cyno'd a titan in 100km off the POS, he put in the password to the POS, hit the DD, and killed our entire 60 man sniper BS / support gang.

NC ain't showing up to fight in those numbers, and at best I've heard Tri's controlled TVN with no contest for better part of week. You going through one system surely knows a lot better then 20 cov ops tracking all parts of their fleets all over New Eden.
You kinda missed the 200 in WH probably, or 70 caps in ZLZ.
Local was at over 450 last week with them still having more in reserve.

wrong, they managed to take control of the system quite often this week, with their numbers waning a bit each time they got pwned until today's lack of presence
but today must be the first day in the week NC hasnt got control of system from after DT to evening

FYI all the corps in Tri have given ME (the KB admin for the Tri board) their API info - and every hour the board pulls those kills/losses made - plus it does a full (FULL!!) sync from all the boards added to the list.
Thats RZR, KIA, DAI, MM, PURE, HYDRA, IRON and others where it fetches all mails - even ones not related to Tri..
So, i THINK the Tri board is covered in regards to complete battle overviews thank you very much - anything else you want to cry about?
uh just a random notice: Usinge the German Client may F*** Up kill mails so they can¦t be used by some KB¦s .....

There is german support in the killmail parser, and if some mails **** up anyway - i blame the germans for not chosing an english client..

I said that an NC leader had told his FC's in a briefing that he thought this was the case. That is true. I know this because one of our alts has been FC'ing for the NC.
Is that clear for you now?

I don't think you can really say, "The NC thinks...," because it's not as if they're exactly an organized bunch. I doubt you could get the lot of them to agree on anything. Although a lot of them do seem to believe some pretty stupid stuff ;p |
