hello... i need some advice/ideas...
I am a solo player/gamer
I spent the last 10 months doing missions, mining, buying, selling, making isk...
Over this period i aquired lots of ships.... Over the last week during pvp/fun i lost every ship.... I dont have enough isk worth(3k isk) to purchase a small ship let alone buy a new clone... I will not borrow or recive/accept donations of any kind... All i have is a newb ship and no clone.... So what do you suggest i do now...?
plz do not answer if your answer is >
Start over again. Join my corp and we will help you get back on your feet. Lmao, roflmao, lol, or humour. Trolling of any kind. Steal ore from other people in ur noob ship looser. Correction of my bad grammer or spelling. Question's based on my pvp loses.

with saying that u might aswel quit but nway, suggest u start over. borrow or accept a donation from a friend and get ur self a new ship.
i`ve allways kept a working ship and a "fun" ship during my play time, apoc to mine and *** to have fun, lose the *** ship and mine in the apoc to get a new *** ship in no time, this way u don`t lose everything.
start all over is the only thing u can do tho, perhaps mine some ark to speed it up abit

Edited by: Shevar on 07/06/2004 12:33:04 Hmmm well sucks to say it but go mining in your n00bship or do lvl1 missions till you can get a somewhat decent frigate (slasher/condor etc.) start doing lvl2 missions again till you get a lvl3 frigate rince repeat till cruiser.
And remember insurance is your friend , if you had all your ships decently insured (platinum insurance) loosing them wouldnt be such a big deal.
The moment you cant afford insurance you definatly cant afford to replace your ship so you will be extremely limited in what you can do with that ship. For example mining scordite in .9 (assuming there arent any corp wars).
Oh and really starting over as in deleting your account would be foolish, it would put you back alot futher then you currently are. Instead of flying in a n00b ship with some skills is better then flying in a n00b ship without em . -------- -The only real drug problem is scoring real good drugs

If you play since 10 monthes you should know, I play since 6 monthes and I made 1M isk with an alt just doing level 1 missions in a weeek or two.

I don't care what you have told me what not to say....
What I will say is after 10 Months you are asking what to do after losing all your ships and isk over a week of PvP?
I feel to tell you what to do would be pointless. In 10 months in the game if you can't work out how to get arround this set back then all the advice any of us here could give would fall on deaf ears.
Maybe you should step back and work out what went wrong with your approach for that week you lost it all and learn from your own mistakes and not expect us to do the work for you.

Best advice I could give you is to always post with your main. No one takes 4 day alts with a 1 post forum record seriously.

I'd suggest you join a corporation who can help you get back on your feet. You ought to have the skills by now to make yourself valuable to any corporation in some capacity, though if you lost 10 months worth of assets in a single week i'd suggest you steer clear of pvp for awhile longer.
BTW, why didn't you use platinum insurance?

Edited by: Rod Blaine on 07/06/2004 13:20:43 U didnt insure any of your ships ? Sorry, thats a question.
Anyway, only way i see for you to get back on your feet is to take a chance and go scout in deep space for abandoned ships...
You didnt think of that did you
You really think anyone is going to believe your post as being a true story ? IF it is, you will be the next darwin award winner for sure.
However, assuming it is true the amount of stupidity displayed by yourself should mean you are extremely bored with this game..and I don't need to tell you what to do then.
If by chance you are not bored, but extremely unlucky and just a tiny bit clueless. What I posted above it prolly the only way next do doing lvl 1 agents or veld mining in 1.0.
Last but not least: scare a noob out of their battleship and take it. You do have a lsight chance of doing taht by equipping your noobship with a scrambler and intercepting some poor guy whose in a BS but has no more then 2 months of play behind his name. IF you find any. _______________________________________________

Even with no insurance you get 40% and for the cheapest frigate there is always more than 3k ISK from that 40%.
So my advise would be not to tell lies since someone might call you up on it later.

Unlucky!.
I can only see 2 options available for you due to the restrictions you have mentioned for posters advice.
1, Quit
2, Rebuild, do what you were doing before but this time invests some of your time and money into having a fallback plan.
The Fallback plan includes:
A. Whatever you do to make money I.e. Mine, Missions, Npc Rat Hunting etc, always have a spare ship dedicated for that task. So when you have money/ship problems you can fall back to your original money making profession.
B. Buy an Original BP for your main money making profession, which in the long run will cuts down the costs of replacing said Profession.
Thats all I can think of at the moment.

Why not try joining a corp this time round? I mean if you spent the last 10months on your lonesome, then decided to do some pvp or whatever and lost all your ****, Obviously you a little bored and want to try something new, so maybe working with other players you may find what you wanted, also they might help you get back on your feet...

Its not a true post "on with the test" .....but if you want me to test it hand me over 1 bil and ill see if i can do it...
Absurd -lies. lol .. missed the bit that says "on with the test" (my main char).... call me up later..eh ?? /me puts up both arms and speaks in a bevius voice "are u threatening me"
And as alot of the post's added...that quit word keeps coming up (how can anyone quit eve? what they crazy?)
The point of this post was i had a bad nightmare(see first post) the other night and at the end of the nightmare i QUIT eve(ne,ne,ne dont say it again)... i woke up in a panic and checked my stuff...but it didnt stop there...althou unlikey cos eve has a great player base and corp's, i thought that this would be a bad situation for anyone in this position..
The only soloution i could think of to this was that ccp would bring out a ship rental/loaner system to eve for a player that had got to this depressing point after playing for a long time...
The game would check player existance time and see if the player had funds greater than 10mil, check to see if the player had a replacement ship...if both were answerd no then the player would be asked if they would like a type of replacemet (miner/combat)ship equal to his game existance time...6 months a top line frig, 12 months a top line cru.
The ship cant be transferd, sold or re-armed and would appear at the homeworld the player was created at...its not a great boost but if its stops 1 player leaving...
The idea is a bit child protection like, but its better than starting over from scratch...
i should have just posted this in ideas.. but i wanted to see what the community could come up with, to make money fast from the position in the first post...
meh..back to mining for me.. hehe

Hello, to me it sounds a lot as if you aquired this account from someone else. You are infact quite a n00b who bought it or got it from a friend that quit.
Why dont you just say so if that's the case?
My advices.. - Start over again, learn how to play befoer you go in over your head. (- 'lol')
PS. How is it even possible to run out of isk completly, without MAJORLY screwing something up intentionally ? ___________________________ Chicks dig Brutor's |

Open your wallet, and if you see an item called "Megathron" or "Tempest", then put it for me on escrow, I'll give you 100k for it to help you out .

My suggestion is:
1) leave station 2) eject from noob ship 3) self-destruct pod 4) fly back out in your noob ship and collect corpse 5) sell it to a corpse collector (they are some no idea why they want them though) 6) repeat 7) be happy in the fact you lost all your skills because they never did you any good anyway.
