I was just wondering. What does the devs have in mind for clones? When shiva hits TQ, the first few persons will just about have reached the limits for the current best clones in skillpoints. What then? I see these solutions:
- There will NOT be new clones. Old members will just have to deal with losing skillpoints when dying.
- New clones will be introduced saving more skillpoints
- Existing drones will be increased to save more skillpoints
- A combination of 2 and 3
Personally I'm hoping for #4, as it will solve the problem for a good while and it will not make it a huge financial burden just being an old EVE-player.
Comments? Devs?

Would be logic not to introduce better clones, so that everyone can catch up at some time and the real elite players will be the ones who are so good that they never die. That's the theory
In real only the station camper would have top skill points and top pvp players could be scared to lose sp, so less pvp, bad solution.
I hope they will simply introduce new clones.

I don't see why veteran players should be punished at all, it makes no sense.
They just need to add clones that save more sp for them, its simple...

I think clones should be more expensive. Not only that, but also what about the old clone system described in the manual? You would still have a chance of losing a few skillpoints no matter what.

I,m now 13.3x millions skills pts.
In 6 month, I'll broke the 19.x m clone.
Some other will broke it in a nearby 3-4 month.
Yea clone should be evaluated. D,C clone cover way too low skill pts. It take 3 month to get in the A clone line (2.5 to 3m skills pts).
Option 3 make it more logic that creating A+++++ or AA clone ;)
